Benicàssim (Valencian pronunciation: [beniˈkasim], Spanish: Benicasim, Arabic: بنو قاسم according to numismatic findings) is a municipality and beach resort located in the province of Castelló, on the Costa del Azahar in Spain. The Desert de les Palmes mountain range further inland shelters the town from the north wind. The name is derived from the Banu Qasim tribe, a segment of the Kutama Berbers that settled the area during the 8th century Moorish conquest of Spain.

The Manduca used to be one of our favourite places to eat in Benicassim. As a couple and with British and Spanish friends we have dined here many times. The last two visits have been very disappointing. Poor service, with even the simplest of orders misunderstood and the food nothing special. I do not know whether they are experiencing problems with lack of staff or are just trying to cram in too many people. Sad because we really used to like this place.

I am not too much pizza lover, because after eat pizza I feel a bit bad with dough! But here, I donât feel bad with dough that itâs really thin! And all the pizza I tried here was awesome!! Specially carbonara was the best for me! Price is also nice!! I hope many person try and enjoy it!

For a cheap, delicious and filling dinner, this place hits the nail on the head. We had the chips and cheese (sooo much cheese), 2 pizzas (more cheese!), 4 beers and 2 carijillas for 36â¬. All the food was great and the service quick!

We arrived with two families of 5 and they were easily able to accommodate us. There is a good selection of food and the service is fast and friendly. We had a selection of pasta and pizzas (plus some fried chicken!) and it was all cooked fresh and arrived quickly. Would definitely visit again.
