We've had positive visits to Cafe Pitti in the past, but will not be returning. Service was very slow and haphazard. My husband ordered two beers and was not served what he ordered either time. He also ordered a pizza special. A single serve pizza with 2 large shrimp and a good amount of crab was $28. It was soggy and disappointing. I ordered a garden salad with green beans, corn, carrots, and granny smith apples. I'm pretty sure the veggies were frozen. It was smothered in a dressing. Pretty awful compared to the menu description. I asked for grilled shrimp on the side and was served 7 large for $4. (Interesting pricing when you consider the cost of the pizza) The shrimp were lukewarm and pale...no seasoning or anything to make them appetizing. My husband had a shrimp avacado salad as a starter. This very disappointing meal cost $72. Waste of money. Only positive was the view which is amazing. We feel really sorry for the hard time you experienced in our restaurant, sad to hear you didnât enjoy anything, your review will help us to improve our failures. Our menu is always made in small batches and from the scratch, never frozen, money we charge for our creations are reasonable price for unconventional cuisine carefully prepared in an open oak burning oven which deserves special kind of treatment and skills.Apparently we did not reach our standards serving you and for that reason just let me say so sorry.

What a nice surprise - a restaurant that totally lived up to its reviews. Server was efficient and friendly, food was delicious - totally reccommend the spicy chicken pasta. Only downside was the noise level...definitely NOT the place for a quiet romantic dinner.

Our quest for excellent Shrimp Scampi Pizza continues which led us to Leo's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Not too many pizzerias offer shrimp scampi pizza, so trying Leo's was a must. Note that the restaurant and the pizzeria are separate restaurants, each with their own entrance although the kitchen is shared. This was our first visit here and we were informed that one can only order pizza in the more casual pizzeria side of this establishment. Everything else on the menu is available on the pizzeria side, but pizza cannot be ordered on the restaurant side. The shrimp scampi pizza was good, but not great. Garlic is an integral component of anything "scampi", and surprisingly there wasn't enough garlic on this pizza. This was brought home by the addition of some garlic powder -- which should have been quite redundant but was not. Unfortunate. Our table also ordered the Pasta Putanesca, another favorite that is not commonly offered. Leo's did a better job with this dish as it was loaded with capers, black olives, bacon, green onions in a rich marinara sauce. We may return to Leo's, but the search for excellent Shrimp Scampi Pizza continues.

From the day the first Leo's opened in 1981 in Cornwall, we have been a family-owned and operated restaurant. Customers can still find owner Leo Maniscalchi, our dad, flipping pizzas in the kitchen. His real passion is making sure the quality of food and
A trip to a cross country meet at Bowdoin Park is not complete without a stop at Leo's. Just a mile north of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge it is the best place to stop after a long day at a meet.Great food, fast service, friend;y service and free wifi
No longer named Sam's. .. it is Sal's. Great food and great quantity at very reasonable prices.... dinners come with a nice salad and a loaf of warm hero bread. The hot tails are just spicy enough. The linguine with white clam sauce has steamed clams on top....Delicious! I would not recommended dining-in at the Beacon location, but Sal's 2 on Route 52 in Fishkill is awesome.

Service was very good. Food was good. Available in half and full portions. I do feel that there could be more menu options. Atmosphere is nice but not really intimate. Other party was a foot away from us and was listening to our conversations! I would likely try it again when in the area.
Finally we have Pizza thatâs actually as good as the Pizza in Italy! The place is clean, modern, open and comfortable. When you walk in, take a deep breath: it smells great! A short and well chosen list of affordable priced wines is offered, and decent wine glasses are used. The grilled Treviso and Endive is delicious: grilled and topped with lightly smoked Scamorza, then passed under the broiler. The selection of Pizzas is terrific, and the dough tastes better than Iâve had from any restaurant in the area. We love it, and weâll be back.

This reastaurant was another pleasant surpris. When you 1st enter the place looks so small just like a normal pizzeria, but the owner showed to the back, where there are 2 larger rooms for a full service reataurant. Our waitress was a sweetheart and extermely helpful. The wine was excellent and all of our meals were delicious. Highly recommend this place. Italian owned since this is an Italian restaurant.
