I want to carry Rana's in my back pocket. Their pizza is the best pizza in the area, hands down. I can't get enough of their white pizza. My boys love their pepperoni pizza. Their garlic knots are amazing. Let me now forget their WONDERFUL service. My boys live with their momma and visit their father and me every two weeks and they constantly ask for pizza each lunch and dinner they spend with us.
This is my regular Italian spot to go since it's around the corner. All the food is good. Eat in or take out. Your best bet for Pizza uptown Bayonne.

Headed to St George theater wanted a place close by. The owner made room for us at the bar when we got there as there was no tables available. We didn't have to wait for long for a table. We enjoyed a very unique cup of spaghetti squash soup, so fresh tasting. The four of us all ordered the same thing, lame but it was so different and intrigued us all. So we all say get the fiocchi and pear pasta. After we had ordered the waitress said her family gets this as an appetizer and shares the dish, as it is quite rich. Great idea. Are only complaint was only 2 craft beers and 1 ran out while we were there.
Well we were in Bayonne visiting with our son and some family. My son and his girlfriend order every couple of weeks there. We had a Sicillian pizza Yummy,Meatball Parmagian also delicious,Phiily cheesesteak umum. Then I noticed Lobster Bisque was there special of the day also very good lots of lobster. I have to say those 2 girls that were were working were so sweet and professional.

(201) 823-3399 I had a delicious meal there..a special was short ribs ravioli in a marsala reduced reduction sauce with wild mushrooms..My cousin had the mussels in a mariara sauce...delicious tartufo dessert......nice service...would go back again!
Their pizzas are very good but I'm only giving them a 3 because imo their pizzas are their best offering. The other dishes are so-so, typical, nothing special. Plus, they can be pricey.

Absolutely unacceptable â see photo a long hair in the pizza - Iâm so grossed out Iâm going to vomit. The managerâs response - weâll put a credit on your account. Why?!!!? Iâll never eat there again. Bad practice - shame on them â no excuse for this.

It's a mom and pop place run by two Italians (a married couple) who KNOW THEIR FOOD! My husband and I have eaten here for years and never once gotten a pizza. For all I know, the pizza may be fabulous. But we concentrate on the pasta (fantastic) and the appetizers. I get the mixed mushrooms with sundried tomatoes every time it's offered as a special appetizer. I've never had a better appetizer in my life, not even in high-end restaurants in NYC. If you're not hugely hungry, this appetizer, along with bread, will certainly fill you up. The pasta is wonderful and plentiful. Have never had bad pasta here, and often it's better than almost anywhere else, including Italy. The bread with olive oil flavored with garlic, red pepper and herbs, is so good you'd be tempted to start every meal with it, but whenever we do our appetites are ruined for the appetizers and dinner! My husband has ordered the mixed seafood special with linguine and 1/2 lobster a couple of times and he LOVES it. I like lobster, but only if it is not overcooked and tough, which is almost impossible to find, but the last time my husband ordered it and offered me some I was pleasantly surprised because it was perfectly cooked. No toughness at ALL.The salads are good, the pasta is excellent, and the appetizers are hearty and wonderful. Look at the specials, too. They change with the season and are well worth exploring. The mozzarella caprese in season is excellent (wait til tomatoes are ripe). I've enjoyed the eggplant rolatini and the garden salad, too, but if you order two appetizers and two pastas (for two) it's way too much food. You can easily order one appetizer and one pasta and feed two people, no problem. Or else take home LOTS of food, because the portions are very generous. The tables are either pretty small or very large (and are often combined for big parties), with red fabric tablecloths, and it's a real mom and pop vibe, not fancy at all. It may be crowded on a weekend night, but the food is worth the wait. BYOB - and people DO -- and sit yourself down for an authentic Italian meal. You won't be disappointed - plus the prices are VERY fair. Even though we've moved away from the immediate Bayonne area, we go back to San Vito's when the mood for Italian hits because we've never found another place in NJ that even comes CLOSE to the deliciousness of San Vito's.The only down side - the service can be a little iffy. Some of the wait staff is very good, some are not, and often the servers are a bit young and inexperienced. Sometimes an older wait person is there with more experience, but don't be put off, because the FOOD is what is special here.

We dined at Deninoâs last night and had a great time. They have greatly expanded the menu. We didnât order any, but there are plenty of appetizers and salads to select now. We had our standard pie with half sausage. It was delicious! I tried their cheesecake which was excellent as was the espresso.
