Very kind, simpatico and attentive service. We felt very welcomed. The restaurant is simple furnished, but the pizzas were the best we had for years. Even the bread, which was kind of starter, was very good. All in all it was a very succesful finish of a wonderful day in Portugal. For all who are lookong for a good italian restaurant, we absolutely recommend this restaurant!

La Mamaroma is a restaurant with a great atmosphere, appealing design, and tasty food. From Pizza to Salads, you'll find a menu that offers different options. I went there with my family and we all tried a bit of everything. Smoked salmon salad, Prosciutto pizza and a Steak (grilled in a hot stone) and we enjoyed it a lot. The only "downside" would be desserts, since variety isn't big, but then again, they have typical italian desserts. Staff is polite and makes a great effort to run everything smoothly. A small advice, make a reservation in advance, as it seems to be full many times.

I've driving in that street and never noticed this small place before. I saw some friends pictures online and we decided to give it a try.It was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. The pizzas are well made with the thin base.May not be the best pizza I ever ate but it was tasty and full of flavors.The price/quality relation is very good. I recommended it if you want to have a Italian meal with reasonable prices.

The service we got was super. They went above and beyond. There was some language barrier but we all worked together and figured it out.The staff was super nice. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Worst restaurant i've ever been...Me and my friends had the terrible idea of going to this restaurant to celebrate my Birthday. We all enjoyed the decor but then...it was a complete nightmare (Call Gordon Ramsay...this restaurant deserves an episode on Kitchen's Nightmare). We chose our food and waited, and waited, and waited...when the food was served we soon realized that it was greasy and low quality but the funny part is that we didn't have forks or knifes...not even a napkin. Our drinks only came to the table as we were eating already. The servents were not rude but they lack experience, manners and sympathy...but the worst came after. At some point we were asked to leave the table because they had a reservation (as we did) and one of my friends didn't had the food yet as others were still eating... as we were disrespected we got up and tried to complaint to the owners...guess what...they told us to leave the restaurant and never come back. Has some friends tried to protest, the owner threatened us with the security staff of the night club just beneath. I do not recomend this restaurant to anyone and i truly wish that it closes real soon. You have loads of good restaurants in this area...don't choose based on decor or you will be very disapointed!

You canât book here - show up and get your name down, then head to the bar for a social drink while you wait. Itâs busy, happily loud and popular. Our pizzas were delicious: crunchy edges, flavoursome and piping hot. The staff are friendly and helpful if you donât speak Portuguese and can bring you an English menu on an iPad. Reasonable prices, excellent service and good food - a win.
