We stopped by the Augusta Pizza Hut yesterday for a quick lunch on our way to Wichita for a doctor appointment. We arrived just before noon (when you would think the staff would have just put out a good selection of pizza on the buffet). Nope. There were only 3 or 4 choices, and all were skimpy on toppings, thin crust and very little to no meat. Very disappointed. The staff was more concerned with playing with a couple of employees children (one baby and a toddlers) who were there with relatives - than they were concerned with tending to customers. I would never go back. Very disappointed with quality and selection.

There are limited number of places to eat in Augusta beyond fast food places. To rate it as poor is not accurate and fair. The bad is that Bricks is a smoky, dark bar and grill. Past the second hand smoke, the good is that we had some very good sandwiches and the service was notably good. The bar tender and server were great. If you want upscale / top shelf drinks or wine, this is not your place, but as a hang out with beer, well drinks and grill food, it is a decent place. If you are not a smoker, it will be a bit much.

Driving through town heading to a basketball game. Reviews on Trip Advisor drove us here and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Two in our party did fried chicken and two did pizza. All outstanding.
