Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Antananarivo. Built on a narrow, rocky ridge, Antananarivo occupies a strategic point at the center of the island of Madagascar. Two forts watch over the city from the east and southwest, while within the city limits lay royal palaces, embassies, some fifty churches and a mosque. The city's most distinguishing feature may be the burnt out remains of the Rova, or Queen's Palace, situated on a prominent hill. Its steep alleys and stairways make Antananarivo a challenging but rewarding city to explore on foot.

Several of us ate here in January, 2017, on our last day in Madagascar. The pizzas are excellent, costing about 11,000 Ariary ($3.50). The fresh fruit juices (1000 Ariary, $.30) and ice cream (2500 Ariary) were equally good. The place is bright, airy and has great service. It's also near the airport for that last meal before the long flight.

Pizzeria située sur la route de lâaéroport dâAntananarivo. Venez déguster nos pizzas cuites au feu de bois que ça soit en famille ou bien entre amis.
Dropped by the Aero for a personal pizza. They have a small dining area, chair/table not particularly comfortable, adequate toilet facilities. No English on the menu, which caused me a minor problem with my order. Still got a decent pizza. Seemed a bit pricey, but this is probably because most of their pizza business is for home delivery. I preferred the pizza La Gastronomie compared to the Aero Pizza. La Gastronomie is closer to the airport and the Ivato business district, while Aero is closer to RN4.

This place looks unpretentious but ask any affluent local - they'll know it. The owner/chef constantly receives commendations from visitors. Try l'escargot there - it's a specialty and had many people hooked from the first bite.I really don't understand the issue of the previous contributor who blasted this place. Maybe they forgot they were in Madagascar, not Paris, or something.

Perfect simple yet classy restaurant. No fanfare, no ptetense, just great international and Malagasy food at low prices, in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. And if you see a cute little dog between the tables, chat with the restaurant's owner! The pizzas are great - thin, juicy rather than greasy, and still cheap. A great secret in Tana! Dear SirThanks for your time and for sharing your positive experience at Au Stade.Above all, we are blessed to welcome special guests like you Thanks for your lovely words and awesome review Best wishes,
