Finally got the chance to experience the food after hearing so much about it. From reading the mixed reviews online I am trying it with an open mindThey were a little busy so wait time was about 20-25 mins which is fine. My partner being celiac the were honest and said they have gluten free pasta and pizza but cannot 100% guarantee as everything is prepared in the same kitchen. Drinks (coke) was ordered when we made our food order (pizza margarita and gluten free pesto pasta)Food was delicious. Forgot to take pics of the food haha

It was a personal bonus as a craft beer lover that this pub was a designated stop on our Ghan off-train excursion to nearby Simpsons Gap! Although the buffet was provided by the Ghan staff, I did enjoy the overall lunchtime experience and the ambiance of the place. I was a bit disappointed that only one house beer was available and that this lacked individual character, but would like to go back one day to check out both the food and some more of the beers.Hey Nick,Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. Unfortunately you were not actually at our venue with the Ghan tour but at the Star of Alice Function Centre next door! They do indeed have one of our more easy drinking beers on tap - only metres away were 10 taps of our beers!We do appreciate you giving us a review & would love to have you at our brewery anytime!RegardsKyle Pearson

We really enjoyed our visit here. We were craving Italian and a few people recommended this place. The food was really nice and perfectly cooked pasta. The flavors of our pizza and pasta was fantastic.Service to order our food was good and it didnât take long for food to come out. They probably needed a few more staff memebers to deal with clearing tables etc as there were no plates or cutlery provided to us, and when we asked they had to hunt around. Other than that it was great. There is a huge play centre thing for kids inside, good for kids but they can be noisy for those wanting a quiet dinner.

Went the opening week originally, fantastic service and friendly staff. Ordered the University burger and a Veggie burrito. It was decently priced, sized and full of flavour. We opted to go back a second time... boy was that a mistake. Second time Staff at the take away counter didnât greet us when we attended, too busy on there phone (I actually had to initiate the conversation). Staff could barely understand English as we had repeat our orders three times before she understood what we wanted. We ordered the same as first time.. Burger was poorly made, didnât have any of the flavour and appeared to an excessive amount of mayonnaise. Veggie burrito was sloppy and mostly had plain rice and still had skin from the avocado.
