Just stopped for a snack on our road trip home to Santa Fe. What a happy surprise to be handed a delicious pizza! Great crust, perfect medium thickness and a nice brown on the edge. Nice light garlic flavor to the pizza sauce. REAL fresh mozzarella! Real fresh julienned basil. Plus a clean restroom. We will stop again!

Out train was late getting in from La Veta to Alamosa.Our group stopped at the Purple Pig for dinner.I am a pizza snob, so I wasn't expecting much.I was pleasantly surprised to find out this was really good pizza.I ordered the 8 inch cheese and 2 of the guys ordered a pizza that was covered in meat. It was so large they could have split 1.Service was very good.I would highly recommend stopping at the Purple Pig if you need pizza fix.Pub atmosphere.

Stopped here while traveling through Alamosa, Colo. Ordered 2 deep dish pizzas to feed our crew while on the road - Took a total of 12 minutes from order to walking out the door! Lot of fresh toppings to choose from. Delicious, fast and can't beat the price. Will always stop by here on our way through town.
