Stayed in the hotel where restaurant is located during our Peru trip, and this was an incredible experience. After eating in some of Limaâs top restaurants, the experience in Amazona topped some of them; two young chefs, passionate about the Amazon and sharing flavors from the area made out trip. All ingredients are locally sourced, a refreshing view to Peruvian cuisine. Amazing Thank you for your comments. It is a pleasure to know that they felt good. We hope to have your visit to Amazona Restaurant again

Our cozy restaurant is located in Puerto Maldonado´s downtown area. We offer the most excellent service around. Air conditioned rooms. Credit cards accepted.
From the outside the restaurant does not look so inviting, we almost walked on. Indoors it looks really good, nice conditioning and excellent service and food. And all for reasonabe price. coming out the hot jungle, this is a nice treat!

We recently had 4 nights in Puerto Maldonado as part of an Amazon adventure. We were recommended Sahoda by our guide Victor and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere and location are wonderful and Shantelle, the owner was very helpful and friendly explaining some of the local menu items. Food was really lovely and pisco sours were great. Thanks Sahoda!Hello,Thank you so much for your review. We are happy that you had an amazing time with us. My pleasure was to be able to explain the culture of the dishes that we have here in the jungle.Safe travels and take careHope to see you again one day for a pisco sour. CheersSahoda restaurant

A staff that doesn't speak English, rooms that are pretty ordinary, miniatures bathrooms, no room service, absence of 24 hour dining just about sums up the place. On the plus side the AC works well, free WiFi is available, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

We got the burger with everything on it for 12S. It has beef, egg, chicken and 2 other meats we didn't figure out. Quite tasty and filling. Lots of people eating there too.

This resto-bar is great. The waiter was engaging and understanding of our almost nonexistent spanish. The beer was served at perfect temperature for the tropics... ice cold. When the meals came out we were impressed by the generous helpings.Well cooked and with good flavors.Nice ambiance and tuktuks just outside.

An absolutely fantastic eatery in Puerto Maldonado. During a three-night stay, we ate dinner twice and breakfast once, and would have had every meal there if we found it earlier! Forego the âincluded breakfastâ at your hotel and come here.Fantastic food quality: local, organic, many gluten-free options. Compostable straws, no plastic. English menu. And unbelievably inexpensive. It has a nice, high location overlooking the center town square, which makes it particularly fun for nighttime cocktails as you watch the areaâs nightlife pass by. Just fyi, you have to climb several flights of stairs to get there.Really enjoyed the different varieties of pisco sour here.Hats off to Juan for brining a fantastic eatery and bar to this town.

Burgosâs is recommend and for the right reasons.Friendly staff, nice outside patio dining and good food.Lomo saltado was delicious, as was the pollo. A salad buffet is included.Only pitty was that they ran out of desserts and (complimentary) tea.All in all a safe bet.
