We had a lovely night at this peaceful fine dining restaurant. The place, the waiters, the small details and of course the food were astonishing. Will definitely come back!

We offer a unique social and dining experience, sharing a table with other guests in our home. The setting is casual and the conversation lively. Our food is eclectic â exploring the spices, herbs, chilies, and ingredients of the Andes, fused with global
Upon the recommendation of a friend, I signed up for the Chefâs dinner at Casa Saltshaker. I was a little apprehensive as thereâs no guarantee that the other attendees will speak English. And I speak appallingly little Spanish. Still, I was looking forward to a wonderful dinner. And the menu didnât disappoint. It starts with a delectable cocktail. The 5 courses, along with homemade bread, were all delicious and varied. Perfectly presented. And exquisitely paired with Argentinian wines. I thought the portion sizes were perfect â I left pleasantly stuffed.I lucked out and all the other attendees were from the USA. Some were grad students studying there or there for work assignments and rest of us were passing through. It was an interesting and lively group of all ages and Dan, who introduces each course and its paired wine, had to wait for a lull in the conversation several times before he could begin. So, take a chance and sign up for this. It was one of (if not the best) meals I had during my stay in Buenos Aires.Tip: Dan has written a witty book, Donât Fry for Me Argentina, full of vignettes (sorry Dan, I know you donât like that word) of his experiences living in Buenos Aires peppered with the occasional recipe. You can prearrange to buy it or order it online. I bought mine there and he was kind enough to autograph it for me.

Towards the end of our two week trip, Osaka was a welcomed break from steak. Weâve been to Japan and have both agreed that the sushi we had in this restaurant was up there with what we ate in Japan! We loved the super unique Peruvian twist! Massive thanks to Juan our waiter who we asked to basically choose what we should order and everything he brought out for us was incredible!! Yes, itâs expensive - but itâs worth the money. Highly recommend!!!
