Our group had stayed at the Scandic Continental in Stockholm, having a good meal. The lettuce in the salad was a bit tired. The main course fish with potatoes and vegetables was good. The dessert was unfortunately a double disaster. First, it took an extraordinary long time to appear, our guide three times heading to the kitchen to find out its progress. Second, when it came, it was clear some parts of the apple pie were still a bit frozen. It did not help that there are only two coffee/tea making machines and one of them was problematic. I had a sense the restaurant was understaffed, having to deal with two groups totaling around sixty people. Restaurants can have off nights. This was one to learn from.

The best thing about this bar is the view with windows in all directions with a terrace facing North for the midnight sun. The food menu is limited but there's a good choice of drinks.

Seafood market and restaurant located in the heart of Narvik, in the old market hall building in the middle of city centre. Here you can try traditional northern norwegian cuisine, as well as typical dishes with a modern twist.
The menu is somewhat limited, and a few items that day were out of stock. I ventured with the whale burger as catching and eating whales is legal in Norway. It was a dark meat and mixed with regular fish as whale is very dry. It was a little salty for my taste but that could have been their formula to make the whale burger. My wife had a regular fish sandwich was very good and not too salty. Definitely check out this restaurant
