We had the buffet, Friday evening. Nice assortment, plentilful with starters, main, vegetarian, cheese, fruit and desserts. Families and some larger groups. We can definitely return.

Her var det meste en mangel ved. Desverre klinger ikke kro bra i mine ører. Mange gode faller gjennom, men det får gå. Her var det ikke mye god kromat. Posesausen kom til de feile personer, kjøtt ble levert langt fra ønsket steketemperatur. Et inderlig ønske om et måltid på en dansk kro krøp seg på. Ta tak, lag noe kjøkkenet er gode på. Få men gode retter.

On a very long drive we arrived in Gol and needed a hot meal. Sometimes you need to have a break away from the van!Good selection of simple dishes to choose from and they arrive quickly and piping hot. Nothing fancy but good plain fair that is well prepared.Salmon and chicken both come with good selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes.Central location in town with plenty of free parking so it is easy to stop and have meal. For Norway the prices are almost reasonable.

I have been visiting this place many times the last eight years. It is a natural choice when travelling by bus from Eastern to Western Norway, but most importantly: The food is always great. The club sandwich has long been a favourite, it is delicious. All in all, I have never felt disappointed after a lunch or dinner here. Worth a visit. When in Gol, don't be a fo(o)l :)

This turned out to be a very good pizza place. There choices go beyond Italy to BBQ pizza and a beef pizza served with Bernaise sauce. My wife liked the Bernaise . I had normal ingredients like pepperoni. The pizzas were loaded with great cheese. Very pleasant and attentive service.

Kjerstis is a simple café in the center of Gol, and also sells some selected juices, jams, other foodstuff. We took some pancakes, Chicken Ceasar Salad, Ramen Soup. Everything was very good, especially the soup. There is not much room inside, but they have a nice courtyard if the weather is good.
