Sjoestjernen has a very nice location at the seaside in Droebak overlooking the fjord through big glass walls, if you choose to sit inside. Give you the feeling of sitting outside without getting cold. The place is open and spacious. The place is a mix between a cafe and bar where they also serve some lunch courses. You order at the counter and get the food served at the table. I had the fish soup and it is highly recommendable with big pieces of salmon and white fish. Really good and a big portion is fairly big. The service is not impressive though. Worth a stop for lunch.
Café C startet up 07.06.2013. This Café is in the middle of Drobak City, the shopping mall in Drobak. We have a great meny, something to eat for everyone :) In addition to that we also have a good assortement of sandwiches (and moore), ice cream, kakes an
Kjempegodt laksesmørbrød med masse eggerøre og mye laks. Eggerøren var heldigvis slik jeg liker den med mye eggesmak og lite salt. Masse sitteplasser og ikke mye støy fra musikk. Masse mat for pengene

You can enjoy a good meal whilst watching life out on the fjord and in the marina. Our quality restaurant complex can offer á la carte service, cafe, food courses, catering, party and meeting venues throughout the year. In summer you can enjoy your meal i
Ordered the halibut, but disappointed from the second I saw it on the plate. The fish and sauce had the moulding imprints of having been heated in a plastic bag (microwaves?). However, the price (NOK 395) indicates a properly prepared restaurant meal. While the potatoes looked crisp, the soft consistency also revealed that they had been heated. The waiters must know as they avoided asking whether we, or from what I could overhear from neighbouring tables, enjoyed the food. Still two stars as the location is a great place for observing shipping on the Oslo fjord. Probably best to go for drinks, and avoid the food, which is overpriced and deserves 0-1 stars.

We (Canadians) have been here two times this year after our daughter told us about the coffee. True story- great coffee. The sandwiches were very good. Pastries varied. A very small place with outdoor seating in good weather. Nice people run this place and were most pleasant.

Det Gamle Bageri (The Old Bakery) is located in a building which used to be a bakery and a brewery during the 18th century. The baker's oven still dominates this small, intimate prmises. This popular venue is located on the market square in Drøbak.
The hot cheese sandwiches were really good, and the location in the middle of Drobak is superb where one can choose to sit inside or outside. But I was not impressed by the service which was very slow, - had to wait Close to 30 minutes for the hot cheese sandwiches, - and I observed that 3 local women who ordered cheese sandwiches after us, received their orders before us. It looks like this is a very popular Place for the locals. We overheard that the Place does not have icecubes which is very unusual.
The food was very tasty, the staff very friendly. Our son of two was also well looked after. The restaurant is worth a walk from the square. And the price was not too bad for Norwegian standards.

One of our local restaurants and we normally have delicious "lutefisk" for Christmas here. This time i had the Christmas platter and it did not live u to this nice restaurant's level. The service by a young man was very friendly and creative which saved the evening from an average score. We will be back for Lutefisk next year.
