On the main track of town, this cafe sits among several other stores and shops. Large windows provide lots of natural light. The furniture is modern and simple. The coffees are excellent and served with artistry and care. There is a good selection of bakery goods and ice creams. The place serves breakfast (try the eggs Benedict!), as well as light meals for lunch. There are wines and beer on the menu. On the side, there are a few outdoor tables and benches, for enjoyment during the warmer seasons.

The Sunday menu was four courses. Three were set and there was a choice of four mains. All were very well presented, adequate in portions any very tasty. the only disappointing part of a very enjoyable day in a great venue was the waiter's service. At the start he spilt a glass of water over me, did not apologise nor help to clean up. He was also very slow on replenishing or seeking further drink orders. The arrival and pre lunch tour of the building and its surrounds was very good as was the after lunch discussions with staff in the kitchen area.

The door had a hard job closing so got left open for short periods that didn't help. Thanks Peter for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
