Nice place where to get your coffee, aperitif, Lunch or dinner. Nice ambience, friendly staff, Francesco and Emilia, doesn't accept guest but friends in them home. Come and visit us, for lunch/dinner or an aperitif whit the amazing sound of the waves at o
Absolutely fabulous food, right on the beach, along with excellent, local wine served by a very knowledgeable owner. The owner, waitor and chef all very welcoming and friendly. I had tiny little, light as air dumplings with plump fresh muscles - heavenly!! Husband had linguine with octopus and squid, freshly caught that day, in a spicy tomato sauce. Mopped up the sauce with gorgeous, crusty chewy bread. This is a small, intimate restaurant, very relaxed atmosphere, expect to wait for excellent food that is cooked freshly for you, using local ingredients. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends who visit this magical island

Welcome to "O 'Pignattello". It is not only a restaurant, a physical site, but a place of the soul. A journey to discover local stories, flavors founded and handed, made up with wisdom and simplicity. Why this name, Pignattello? It is the way we use here,
Itâs a pity that we didnât discover this place at the beginning of our stay!To be honest, I think that it has nothing to envy to the near starred restaurant! My âPennoni ai tartufi di mareâ(sea truffles) and âCappuccio dâasticeâ(lobster) were absolutely superb... and the chef Marcello is such a welcoming guy!

Open since around one year, it boasts two indoor rooms (extremely nice) and a cosy outside area on the street just like a garden. Its staff is warm and helpful and the menu offers many opportunities of food: from very special grilled sandwiches to refined dishes of contemporary cuisine. High quality ingredients, an outstanding wine list and discretion of the staff make this place well-worth visiting. We chose smoked sword fish and salmon with radicchio and radish salad, a maxi sandwich with buffalo burger with French fried potatoes, dried salted cod fried in a beer batter with grilled vegetables and assorted canapés with fresh ricotta, salmon, sword fish, raw ham and rocket. Every dish was tasty and carefully prepared and presented as well.Rates in the average. Highly recommended.

Sometimes a very little is all it takes to feel like you're in heaven... A magical atmosphere and breathtaking view characterise this enchanting eatery... Le Stufe osteria & oucina...Near the centre of Lacco Ameno.
We quite easily found the sign for this restaurant just off the main square in Lacco Ameno and headed on up the steep hill to reach it. I didn't think the view was particularly stunning - there are better views from the seafront. Anyway, the menu was explained to us in good detail and we ordered a sharing platter to start. They were really helpful and made changes to it because my husband is allergic to tuna and squid and they made substitutions . Everything on the sharing platter was lovely. It was the 'main' course I found confusing. Theres primi platti and secondi platti and we now realise we should have ordered one of each each because I ordered tuna tartare expecting it to be a main course portion but it turned out that it wasn't. It was tuna , with quite a few very thin slices of fennel and three slices of an orange on top. Husband ordered the salt cod dish and got a tiny bowled dish with just three small cubes of white fish in it. When we'd ordered the dishes I asked about vegetables and the waiter looked slightly confused, so I ordered a plate of mixed vegetables to come with our 'mains'. This turned out to be a large plate with a single layer of courgette, aubergine and fennel that had been chargrilled. So I think our 'main' courses were actually 'starters' too. Maybe we just don't understand that its expected to order 3 savoury courses in Italy?. I had a really nice chocolate and almond cake dessert which was home made. But we felt a bit puzzled when we left, and unsatisfied. If we'd ordered three savoury dishes each and then dessert then the bill would have been very expensive.

The best bruschetta I ever had! Service was phenomenal. Family owned and operated. This place is a jewel. It is a hike to get up there probably 45 minutes, but is so worth-it. You have an amazing breathtaking view. You have two view points one through the restaurant and the second one next to the restaurant building. Best food, best service best view! Wear comfortable hiking shoes.

Great view, we have been sitting almost in the water...food was also good...but I am pretty sure that I have overpaid my sea bass...LoL....it was exactly 1000g and 65â¬\kg.Here my errors:1) I didn't ask for the price!2) I haven't seen the fish with my own eyes!3) I could have even asked to weigh it!Again good experience, but 0 transparency....And a feeling to have been cheated...

Speciality: rabbit in aromatic herbs known for meat dishes
We had been visiting Ischia for a long weekend. Inspired by Alex Pollizziâs âItalian Islandsâ programme about Ischia, I decided to take my partner to Il Focolare. The restaurant looked a little bit different from what we remembered watching a programme. Once we sat at the table, I asked a waitress, who looked familiar to me, if they had any celebrities visits. She told us about Gerard Depardieu and Alex Pollizzi. So my doubt had disappeared and I knew we were in the right place. So we were served by the restaurant ownerâs daughters. We found out that Ricardoâs 2 sons were working as the chefs in the kitchen. The antipasti which were complimentary to the main dish were delicious; our ordered Ischian wine was perfect. The cooked rabbit was tender, tasty and prepared with lots of love of Ricardo family. Ricardo spoke to the most of his customers during that evening. He came to us to say hello and we had a long chat. He shared his memories with us ....about his journey to London, his trip on a scooter from London to Bristol and many others. We had an absolutely brilliant time. P.S. taxi fare to get to the restaurant and back was absolutely rip off. I recommend to ask your hotel receptionist to book a taxi for you.

A local hangout that has excellent pizza but we were disappointed with the rest of the food. Nice people - looks like a family operation with Nona at the cash register. Parking is nonexistent so we parked in the port parking lot and walked. They don't really start serving until 7:30 but most locals come in at 8:00 or 8:30. Real wood fired brick oven and they serve a wonderful flat bread, hot out of the oven when you sit down to order.

Went there because of Tripadvisor and because I am picky, but it exceeded my expectations. Really great food, salad was so huge and delicious!! Owner was super nice and all the waitresses. Can highly recommend this place and a huge plus was that the chicken salad was only 10 euros.

We managed to get a table for two at relatively late notice and felt fortunate throughout. We had lovely house white wine (eur8 approx for 1/2 bottle) and three different fish dishes (fried sea bass a particular favourite)Although the entrance could put you off, it really shouldnât once you walk downstairs and meet the team.
