We had a fabulous lunch at Le Relais after driving through the Atlas Mountains, and it was paradise found. The surroundings are gorgeous - the lake view is relaxing and the whole property feels like some sort of beachside resort - and the service could not have been more welcoming. The food overall may not have been particularly inventive, but it was fresh and delicious. The desserts and the wine list were particularly appreciated, and we were encouraged to go to a relaxing area with beach chairs where we could sprawl out for a post-meal lunch. Don't miss this!

We stayed here from January 1-3rd and it was truly magical. The guest house is welcoming, warm and colourful with hearty fresh food and delicious tea. However we observed several guests have dangerous experiences while treking and on a mountgain bike ride. Both did not use the qualified guide at Douar Samra. Safety measures need to be improved here and within the Imlil tourist community as the terrain is stunning but harsh and accidents/incidents are happening, and going unreported.

Whilst staying in the hotel, they offered a three-course dinner each evening for 5 euro per person in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared each day with fruit and veg from the market, and filling enough to refuel after a long day's hike. The service was friendly and helpful, and able to speak a number of languages. The restaurant was filled with other hikers, and great for exchanging stories and routes you had seen during the day.

Kasbah du Toubkal, the award-winning hotel set deep within Toubkal National Park, is open for lunch on a daily basis to non-residents. If you are planning on being in the Imlil area and fancy lunch whilst enjoying some of the most dramatic mountain scener
Great views and ambience, and friendly staff. The food was good - we had a meatball tagine. Since we stayed in a partner hotel in Imlil we got the resident lunch price, and still the price was rather high relative to Imlil standards.
We came across this restaurant whilst staying at a hotel 5 minutes away. The restaurant is newly opened, has outdoor seating and a traditional Berber tent for shade. The food we ate was fantastic. Some of the best meals we have had on our many trips to Morocco. The chef previously worked as a chef in a local restaurant and serves a variety of Moroccan dishes. The ingredients are picked from the garden wherever possible and the prices are extremely reasonable - £3-5 for a main meal, less than a pound for drinks. Ideal for lunch and dinner

We were in Marrakesh and took a trip to Atlas Mountains, but due to some road works ended up in the Restaurant. Seemed true peace and tranquillity. We had a table next to the pool with great view of the mountains. The food was fabulous.Make sure you dont let the Taxi driver order in advance but you go and order yourself.Wait for the food and enjoy the surroundings
Charming restaurant. We had a three course drinner here, service was great and food was very tasty and fresh. Good price, too! Would recommend the chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives. Good portion sizes and served with plenty of bread. Great little place, would definitely visit again!

We stopped in for a late lunch on our arrival in Ouirgane. The host was super kind and made haste to serve us a tajine - since we were late, that was all they had to serve us, but we had no complaints at all. Tasty and piping hot, it hit the spot. The price was right, too.
