Lovely place in the medina where you and your family can spend time in a typical decor for lunch or dinner at very reasonable prices.
Popped in for lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the three course lunch. We began with very flavoursome stuffed sardines followed by a seafood pastilla and a squid tagine. We followed this with creme caramel and a selection of pastries. They brought chilli sauce out to spice up the tagine.

"la Terrace des saveurs" is the perfect example of a well-run restaurant with amazing food, super nice staff and ideal location.Situated on the bay of Essaouira, the restaurant features a modern/chic decor, ideal for families and couples looking to enjoy fresh seafood, fish plates and local food in a charming and relaxing atmosphere.Prices are very good for the location and it has free WIFI, useful when a Mb can cost 4euros in Morroco.I have been going to Essaouira for 15 years and this is a place I will return every time I am in the city.5 stars all around!!!Thank you for your kind review. We do take pride in catering to our guests's needs the best way we can. If you're traveling to Essaouira again soon, don't hesitate to come back to our restaurant.

Very friendly staff and great food. Unfortunately no reservation can be made so you are most likely to wait a bit but it is really worth it.The atmosphere is warm and the food cooked with care. We had a great evening and for sure will love to come back.

Restaurant decorated with gaiety. Home in simplicity and gentillese. Small menu card but regular suggestions.
Our food was indeed fabulous and we thank La Cle de Voute for their creativity in offering what I'd say are truly different and successful dishes. We were lucky as we arrived early and benefited form the good service, relative quiet and personal attention you'd expect in a place which serves high caliber of food. But all the seats quickly filled due to advanced bookings, the service slowed and it was finally a relief to get out of the cramped, rather noisy room, which I'm sorry to say lacks ambience. There's little in the way the dining area is arranged, the background music they use, or the decor to make Le Cle de Voute feel intimate, relaxed or friendly. Pretension is starting to creep into what was probably once a lovely restaurant. It may be that their reputation for great food on social media is starting to detract from the overall dining experience. When somewhere becomes an on line 'foodie holy grail,' the real life dynamic often changes and and I'm afraid this has happened to Le Cle de Voute. Perhaps it's time to hike up the prices and get a larger restaurant!

Another delicious experience at dâOrient et dâAilleurs which has now become my must-stop-by restaurant whenever Iâm in Essaouira. I was delighted to see some novelties added on the menu like the John Dory filet served with a very tasty coconut sauce and tender vegetables. My partner went for his usual meat couscous (always generous portions). I also tried the dried fruit pie for dessert, a sweet touch that tickle the palate but doesnât weigh heavy on the stomach. Altogether another very agreeable evening!

A new funky chic bistrO in the heart of essaouira . Come find us in Place Traa near the old Jewish quarter .
Situated in the most picturesque square, eating at BistrO is an experience you won't forget. As a vegetarian, I had many choices from the menu and had the most delicious dinner by far during my stay in Essaouira. Leo & staff are warm, fun, knowledgeable and there to ensure you have a great meal. The chic decor and great music also enhance the experience of BistrO. Enjoy!

This is a wonderful little place with seats for 10 people. The pasta is served al dente and a starter is brought with a bread basket and 2 small juices; orange with apple and the other orange with banana. The starter could be pureed carrot, green beans and a little rice or lentils, served in a very pretty way. The cost of only 50 dirhams is so reasonable, almost too little for a meal that even Jamie O would be proud off.Visit and leave a tip for these two marvellous Moroccan ladies.

Restaurant marocain traditionnel propose carte varié et des menus de jour pas chère préparé avec des produits locaux et bio .
Weâve been in Morocco for 10 days and have had plenty of tajine. Some good some bad. From the moment I tasted the sweet chicken with caramalized onions and raisins, I was floored. The flavor was the best Iâve had. We also ordered the meatball tajine with egg. Just as delicious but I really loved the chicken. The restaurant is unassuming. Mom is upstairs cooking and her son takes care of the customers. Quick, delicious, off the beaten path but worth it!

I came to Morocco to experience new flavors. And what I found in the Hungry Nomad is way more than I could expect. Chef Couscous provides an amazing experience on many levels. Besides the delisious food that you can't eat enough of, the service that comes with it is a six star one. Chef is professional as well as a very warm and caring person which comes through in the food he serves.
Feeling like a little relaxing moment after a long day of wondering the city, a place overlooking the bay of Essaouira, where to enjoy a beautiful sunset, a chic and cozy atmosphere, serving amazing cocktails while enjoying good food and good music; The R
Great place with perfect beach-view, Cafe here several times during our vacation. The food was really nice and the whole place very tidy with high european standarts. They also have a really nice menu with great sea-food und good local wines. The prices are high for the local average, but still very affortable. Perfect dir an ice-cold beer in the early afternoon...Thanks a lot Sebastien, happy that you enjoyed your stay in Essaouira and in our establishment. We are working every day on providing our guest with the highest quality services while being as affordable as you we can. Hoping that we'll see you soon! Greetings from The Roof Bar
