The dinner at Sumac was a good experience with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good, with smooth and tasty hummus with tahini, a tasty and spicy Sabich, however the falafel balls, according to my taste should be smaller and cooked longer. The salads were OK but not extraordinary, we ordered the family plate so we got 5 different salads.The all in all experience was very positive and the portions were well sized.

Decided to try out this restaurant based on recommendation from Montreal Blog. It was perfect! We tried an assortment of appetizers - and each was fresh and flavourful. The rose water ice cream made in house rounded out the meal and was very refreshing. The Afghan green tea was mild and slightly sweet. A nice end to a fantastic meal.
