If you want great mediterranean food and don't care too much about dining ambiance then this is a great bet. It is a very small, family-owned business. They are extremely friendly, and the food is great. I find their shawarma to be the best in Red Deer.

A couple days ago I had just went to how Sams donair and I was really surprised on how food tasted it was perfectly cooked,great flavour and amazing service from the staff and I have never experienced a place so clean and organized and I am really happy with the lady working at the front sheâs always in a great mood and is always smiling,Sam is really funny and very sweet to everyone to and they have perfect temperature and personally I live in Calgary and I went to visit red deer and came across Sams so I checked their web and looked very nice and yummy so from now on I will be coming out here way more often than I used to btw the prices are just right not to high but at the same time not to low after all I think Sams is a very great restaurant

What a great little restaurant. After driving by many times I finally decided to stop and get a falafel wrap for take-out. I've now been back several times. The food here is awesome, especially the falafels and the tabouli salad. This is a small place, only three tables, but my impression is that most people get their food as take-out. They are fast, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are reasonable. I'd love to try other items on their menu, but I keep going back to the falafel wraps: my favourite! There are a number of vegetarian selections. They also have size options such as medium or large wraps, or regular or large for salads. If you're looking for something different you MUST try this little gem.

It is fast, tasty and great value. They have a lot of regulars who frequent the place. A lot of take outs but there is also a nice sitting area of you decide to eat in.
