First time here and played it safe with the 1/4 chicken. Tasty and served with rice, hummus and a greek salad. Tried some of my sonâs Beef Lulu Kabob, nicely seasoned ground beef. Given the traffic, this place is well regarded by the locals. Not fancy, but you donât go to a restaurant to eat the decor.

Had a great dinner there last night. They replaced an Italian Restaurant and have done a nice job on decoration and ambiance. It was very comfortable. The food (I had the lamb and my guest had the ground beef kabob) was well prepared. It was served with grilled vegetables and the rice was very good as well. The service was friendly and attentive. Dinner prices were reasonable. The bottle of wine we had ($17) was an excellent value. I also suggest you eat on the patio if you can..We'll certainly be back.

This is a small family-run restaurant along Foothill Blvd in western La Canada. It features kabobs in a middle eastern style. The food is good. We had chicken kabobs, which were seasoned with lemon, olive oil and some yellow spice. The kabobs were accompanied by grilled tomato and pepper, plus a salad and rice. The rice was fairly dry, without much flavor. The grilled vegetables were tasty. Food came with pita bread and butter. All-in-all a good value if not gourmet. I priced a bottle of Beaujolais, which at $38 was over priced, especially for a 2010 vintage and plain Beaujolais (not Village or cru). We decided on ice tea. They have a nice outside area that, although facing Foothill, is well screened with trees and other plantings. In warm weather it is much nicer that the somewhat dark inside.

Saw on the Food Network so gave it a try. Parking across the street in pay lot for cheap. Possibly behind restaurant, too. Very big inside with all large tables under open air. Interior is family-style feel, not romantic and quaint. They give you pitas to start. Ordered hummus, which was good but not incredible. Tried lamb, chicken, and beef kabobs. The chicken (not ground) was by far the best out of all of them. Delicious! The rice is flavorful but they give you way too much. I like large portions but somewhat ridiculous. Good but probably would not return. Nothing so different compared to other restaurants nearby.
