Found San Jose on TripAdvisor. Even with a GPS it was a challenge to find especially with the state of the road construction. But well worth the trip. Portions were large, served hot and very good. Service was great and the bill very reasonable. Highly recommended.

While I have had better Mexican food, I can say that Don Patron is consistently good. The margaritas are very good, as is the ceviche. I love their guacamole too - although a bit pricey. The service is good. Price is good.If you want a GOOD (not great) Mexican food dining experience, Don Patron delivers.

I think this place is a hidden treasure. It is friendly, clean, relaxing and everything Iâve ere tried is delicious. Highly recommend. Bring cash. Frequently credit card charge system is not working. Navy Fed is just across the street and they have an ATM.

I spent most of my life in Southern California, and I know Good Mexican food. This is good Mexican food. We eat here once a week!We ate here when it was Peppers, and it was âokayâ but we did not really like the service or the ownership. The folks here are the same owners as Mi Casa, and they are trying hard to make it the best that they can, and it starts with a GREAT menu, excellent ingredients and recipes, and authentic dishes!Eat at Compaâs and you will enjoy a wonderful Mexican meal. And the Margaritaâs are superb!
