We had been wine tasting all day, stopped back into the hotel to clean up and then walked around the corner for dinner and felt like Mexican so stopped into Los Molcajetes. Big mistake! We were seated right away and the menus we were handed were sticky and stained from things being spilled on them. We were tempted to leave, but tired and figured we would hang in there. Our server came over to the table and seemed so disinterested. She never introduced herself, didn't say hello, simply barked are you ready to order. We quickly decided and Mr. B settled on the Chile Rellano Burrito and I had the 2 cheese enchilada plate. Our food was delivered by someone other than the server which is fine, and they were equally unfriendly. Just kind of set the plates down and walked away, didn't ask if we needed anything, we couldn't get anyone's attention to get more water, but dug into our meals. Mr. B looked at me and shook his head and said, I have never had such a bland burrito, it has no flavor. I took a bite and agreed, it even lacked salt. My enchiladas were equally as boring, the beans lacked any flavor and the rice was undercooked. Our server never stopped back by, we had to ask another server to get our check, they didn't ask how we liked our meals and we clearly didn't as we left a lot on the plates. We paid the check and left without a thank you. They simply don't seem to care if they have diner's and don't care if the diner's are happy. We were kicking ourselves for not walking the extra distance back to Pura Vida.

I like chicken carnitas. The dish served here is probably the best one I have ever had! Ever! Both the chicken and the veggies had a nice high heat char that took the flavor over the top. I will be ordering this again. The service got it done but was not friendly. Its just a job...
I'm a huge supporter of little local businesses...especially restaurants...especially ethnic restaurants. I read in a review below that Martha used to sell her tamales out of a food truck and I can't tell you how many times I've found excellent restaurants that started as food truck or pop up vendors. This is a little unadorned cafe in a little community. You know...one that most folks probably just drive right on by. But believe me, if you love tamales, you really need to stop and try Martha's. My wife and I were visiting the McMinnville area and staying at the Vintage Trailer Park in Dayton. I had read the few reviews of this place and made it a destination. We ordered two tamale dinners to go...one pork, one chicken. They each came with two tamales, which we shared, rice and beans. The portions were sizable; the tamales soft yet firm and packed with meat filling. The salsa's were homemade and delicious. Total bill was $18.50. We were delighted with our simple but tasty and authentic fare. We'd return in a minute if we didn't live 180 miles away! Only wish now that I had taken a few photos of the restaurant and the food to share here. So if you go and review this place...please take some photos!

We were visiting town for a Linfield soccer game. This place was recommended by our grandson. An amazing set-up! A regular restaurant with an outside grill. Huge tasty burritos, several salsa choices, & a friendly staff. Prices are very affordable. It reminded us of Mexico and that wonderful street food!
Absolutely excellent! Food was amazing- the seasonings and sauces are so, so good. rich and deep, with layers of flavor. Hard to chose from the many unique items on the menu. I had molcajete, a new dish to me, and will definitely order this again-but only after trying a few other items of course. Husband ordered Los Tres Compadres, a trio of classics but the flavors took these to another level. Great service, and the drink selection was awesome as well. Great prices, can't wait to go back.

We stopped in at La Sierra for a late lunch. The place was practically empty. Our food was fair--everything tasted the same. Service was less than fair. Our meals took almost forever and getting our tab was difficult. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. We were not impressed.

This was exceptional!! We had a party and it was time for dinner. I pulled out the take out menu, gave them a call and the delivered to our door. Granted, we only live a mile out of town, but they made it happen!
