Not special, but it will do...had lunch here...over-sized portions, basic Tex-Mex style...don't even make their tortillas here...had a chimichanga...it was OK, served with the usual dollop of sour cream and guac...no hot sauce, kind of tasteless refried beans w/melted cheese on top...so if looking for quantity over quality, have reasonable expectations, this will do, but don't get too excited for this basic variety, no special style or special anything.

Always make stop for Fish Tacos when nearby! Love the Horchata & selection of salsas and condiments.

Awesome margaritas to start; guacamole was under seasoned; salsas OK; chips still hot-which was great !Dates were as good as we remembered; tasty chorizo stuffing inside, crispy bacon on the outside-YUMMY! but 2 for 12 dollars? Camarones also amazing flavours but very expensive - 4 shrimp for 20 dollars? Atmosphere is great but these are NOBU prices..anyhow....

We were going to a concert at the Fox Theater next door and chose this place for a quick but nice dinner... 5 of us had different dishes and I'm still lusting for more of the Camarones a la Diabla which was about the most perfect spin on seafood I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. And we're no strangers to this cuisine, eating at a new Mexican restaurant almost every week, our favorite food genre.

Over five years ago, the idea of La Viga Seafood & Cocina Mexicana was conceived by answering a simple question: Could we create a dining experience that would be something both familiar and exciting for our community and fellow food explorers? The answer
I was early for lunch and there were hardly any people in the restaurant. We ordered chicken enchiladas and shrimp quesadillas--they were delicious! And by the time we left, it was full with everyone enjoying delicious Mexican food. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable--we'll be back!

Was seated outside for lunch and was very pleased. Lots of food options to choose from. I had the enchiladas and they were very tasty. Parking available directly across the street. There are lots of beverage selections available. Service was a little slow but was also careful not to disrupt conversations.
