We had not been to this place for decades, and decided to re-visit, because some friends and family members wanted to do that. The place was, and still is, mobbed, and since they do not take reservations, we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our table to be readied. The restaurant is very large, and is friendly and bustling, and this made the noise level way too loud for us. We could barely carry on any conversation at our table. The Menu is quite extensive. Their starter chips were warm and fresh â maybe just a little too salty. Between the six of us, we ordered a bottle of their red wine, Mango Margaritas, Fajitas, Blackened Salmon, Blackened Catfish, etc. Everything was delicious, and the portions were very large, so it was impossible to finish everything. Next time we will share a dish among two people. The food and service were very good. However, given the noise level and the long wait, we are not sure we want to fight the traffic and make the long drive to come here, when we have similar places very close to usIf you do not mind the noisy atmosphere, get your Tex-Mex on and go for it.

El Ranchito elevates their food above common Mexican entrees you might normally expect. Everything is fresh, and freshly made. Our group enjoyed a nice dinner and ordered different dishes from quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. Everyone was very satisfied and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our entire group of five ate dinner for under sixty bucks - reasonable prices for sure!Parking was a little tricky as we had to park on the street but as it was evening everyone found a space that was fairly close. Be careful not to park in the lot behind the restaurant, it's for the other nearby businesses and you could be towed.
Woodbridge Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Woodbridge
I ate a late lunch here recently, around 4:00pm. I had walked by this place many times before and there were always people coming and going from here so I knew it had a steady business with the local latino residents and that means that the food is good. I walked to the back of restaurant and ordered at the counter. I canât speak Spanish so I ordered a chicken burrito. The gal asked me what I wanted to drink, Coke, Diet Coke... I hesitated, trying to eat healthy, I tend to avoid sugary sodas in general. I saw âAgua Naturaleâ on the menu so I ordered it. She asked me what kind I wanted, âWe have rice water..." and she mentioned some other choices, but I chose to try the rice water. I sat down at a table and she brought me the rice water drink, tortilla chips and two brown stone bowls, one filled with red pepper dipping sauce and the other with green chili pepper dipping sauce. I ate the chips and green pepper sauce, I avoided the red pepper sauce. The rice water was excellent, itâs a cloudy cream color and very sweet, reminds of the traditional Korean rice drink. There was a TV in the corner of the restaurant with a Spanish soap opera on, I didnât have much of a choice if I wanted to either watch it or not. Thereâs a giant white ceiling fan in the middle of the room with a tiny Santa Claus stuffed doll hanging from it, cute. This place is definitely a hole in the wall, but the food is good and el cheapo. The tables are covered with white tablecloths and a small square colored napkin in the middle positioned in a diamond shape as a decoration, covered with a plastic tablecloth. The chairs are black metal with plastic seat covers, the kind you would see in a church basement. The large tables have fake red roses in colored glass bud vases. There are mirrors on each side of the room, which is bad for Feng Shui, you shouldnât have mirrors facing each other into nothingness. Tsk tsk. My burrito was gigantic, like a Cheesecake Factory portion size. Huge! It was on large white ceramic plate, topped with a white cream sauce (looks like sour cream but it wasnât, very mild tasting), white crumbly cheese (looked like feta but tasted much milder than feta) shredded iceberg lettuce and chopped tomatoes. It was filled with chicken, refried beans, Mexican rice and melted cheese. I was starving since the only thing I ate all day was a cup of coffee and one slice of cherry biscotti very early in the morning. I ate the whole darn thing, my stomach probably expanded to the same size of that Japanese Competitive eater, Takeru Kobayashi. I also finished my drink too. It was excellent, no complaints and very reasonably priced. The total came out to $8.58 for the rice water and chicken burrito, when I added the tip it was $10 USD. Iâm probably not doing this review justice since I couldnât read the menu and ingredients which were written in Spanish only. The restaurant is within walking distance from the Woodbridge NJ train stop, only a few blocks away. Unfortunately, they donât have a website. Overall thumbs up for grub at a reasonable price if you can ignore the low budget decor.

Taco Bell is a fast food restaurant that is always consistent. the food is always the same - which I find very appealing. I can get a healthier option than the normal burger and fries at other fast food restaurants. The DRIVE UP always has a long line ... but it moves quickly.
