As with every restaurant in Hamilton County, especially the chains, Chiliâs is short- staffed. If youâre not in a hurry and have some patience you can enjoy the menu and the setting. On a Sunday afternoon it took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Another 10 to receive our drinks. And then another 10-15 for the meal. Everything was as ordered and was served hot.

I think this is my 3,654th restaurant review for Carmel - just kidding - but I stay overnight there on business almost every week - and have reviewed many of the restaurants in town - On a recent COLD and blustery November Monday - I was craving Mexican - and noticed Abuelo's just to the east side of US31N as I drove past to the 151st exit... so I decided to try it..When I first arrived at about 6 pm on a Monday - the place was almost empty - I was dining alone on business travel - so I sat in the bar area - Jenifer was my server - and she was - at least initially - every attentive and helpful. I like draft beer - and they did have Dos XX - Modelo, and Pacifico on tap - but none of the great local drafts.. oh well... chips and salsa were provided - the salsa was fresh and good - the chips were SUPER thin - tasty - but did not work well for dipping. I had the Chile Rellenos for a meal - one stuffed with cheese and one with beef - sides of good rice and beans - overall - very tasty - not great - but good. The décor was very nice and well thought out and the atmosphere was comfy- not too loud - and the crowd picked up at about 7 - Jenifer ended up serving about 8-10 tables - and I had to wait a bit for her to bring the check - but I was not in a hurry... I would recommend this place - in general - but the bill - including tip - for 2 drafts and the chile rellenos - was about $36 - more than I would typically expect to pay for Mexican cuisine... I guess you pay for atmosphere in tony Carmel - and that is OK - because the atmosphere was nice - and when traveling on business - that is important to me..

Taco Bell fare is usually very good road food - tasty, and you can't beat the value. This Taco Bell is no exception. Excellent food, and pleasant people.I had a crunchy taco, substitute beans for meat - kinda like the discontinued tostada of old. I also had a regular bean burrito. Lots of foodMy wife had a crunch taco, and crunchy taco, substitute beans for meat. The manager says they are glad to substitute - JUST ASK!Great food, back on the road in minutes ready to go!

Indifferent service, didn't seem to give a d**n that I was there. While the "choriqueso" appetizer was very good, the chorizo could have been drained of its ample orange fat before being mixed with the blanco queso. The main reason I left? I ponied up $12.99 to get one of their premium margaritas, and they used pre-made margarita mix to cover & kill the nuanced flavor of Patron tequila, which should have been given better treatment...

This is my third visit to this establishment. The house margaritas and chips/salsa are very good. However, the food is only so-so. My wife and I have tried a total of eight different entrees, and never found one that was great or terrible. The service is either so-so or bad. The wait staff, with one exception, was either crabby, indifferent, or semi-hostile. Management was pretty much non-existent. One treat worth seeing is the magician who entertains occasionally. Have had two different magicians and both were good. Not Vegas good, but worth seeing, Quite entertaining and child-friendly.

Energetic bar & eatery serving Authentic Mexican cuisine such as tacos, burritos & carne asada. Wether its arroz con pollo or simply some chips and dips you can count on The Toros!
Have been here many times and usually get the Fajita Quesadilla or the Molcajete.. both can be shared by two... especially the Molcajete... they are very large portions and only 12.95....Beer is reasonably priced at 3.50 and very cold....Great place with a good atmosphere and very good food..... go and enjoy....and get for under 20.00
