Took my son here last night. Don't be fooled by the look of the place from the outside as it kind of looks like a store/deli but it has a nice little seating section inside and man the food is out of this world. I had been meaning to try the place based on reviews I was seeing over on Yelp. It did not disappoint. Chips and salsa served to the table before our meal. Salsa was slightly spicy but very tasty and the tortilla chips were served warm. Tried 3 different tacos and a sandwich. All were awesome. I was eavesdropping at the table next to us and they had platters and they looked delicious. The folks who were coming in were mostly of Hispanic or Mexican heritage too. Prices were great. Only complaint is no alcohol served. I do enjoy a margarita with my mexican meal now and again. 2 can sodas, 3 tacos and a monster sandwich came to $14.50. Cannot beat that. We will be back for sure.

Great Find With Wonderful Mexican Food
We often try to find something different than the standard roadside chains while on vacation. Came here for dinner on a recommendation from the front desk at our hotel, nice choice. This seems like a nice local favorite.Great food and service. Weather was nice, so we had our meal out on the patio.

Three of us visited recently on a whim. We are glad we did. Service was good and attentive. our food was tasty and seasoned well. we ordered an assortment of dishes which included their nachos which were great, empanadas perfect. The menu is full of variety. Very satisfying experience.

Food is ok. I can see how people find it to be delicious because there aren't many options around. I wouldn't consider it authentic Mexican at all. It's more of a Tex-Mex/American style Mexican food. The specials are great though!

A group of fourteen friends got together at El Jalapeño Charro for a retirement celebration. The staff was wonderful they really went out of their way to make our night special. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The restaurant is colorfully decorated putting you in a festive relaxing mood. Give it a try and have some fun.

My wife and I tried this location based upon the reviews and were not disappointed. The server was also co-owner and her husband the chef. We tried several recommendations and were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality and large portion. She explained some of the specialty dishes and was not over bearing.Highly recommend, I will be back!Ps: we left with enough food for lunch the next day!

Visited solely based on the other TripAdvisor reviews and very glad we did. Service: Could this be the best part of our visit? Our waitress was so personable and really seemed like she enjoyed serving her customers. She talked to all her customers like she's known them for years - maybe she has.. couldn't ask for more.Value: Viewed their menu online and was set on their $17 pizza and chicken parm combo advertised online. We were a little disappointed to see written in on their menu that it was for "carry out only". Food: We still ordered it as a chicken parmigiana sandwich which was very good. The cheese pizza was good but maybe not great, but still better than most in the area. To note we were offered and served chips & salsa before our meal. The salsa was very good while the chips were a little stale. Overall the food was satisfying and was on par for the #1 restaurant in Salisbury Mills.Overall this was a great choice - no doubt we will be back.
Slow service? Oh Yeah. My husband, daughter and I waited at least 45 minutes to an hour for our food - which when it came, wasn't all that great. Best thing? the gentleman who I think was either the owner or manager, was very nice and friendly and it based on him and wanting to support a local business, that we will give this place one more try. Our server was not attentive and we had to wait for everything form ordering, to getting chips, to getting beverages, to getting our meals, to getting the check. The waitresses that were waiting on people at other tables seemed much more invested in what they were doing and their tables seemed to be getting much faster and better service.

In Washingtonville you have your pick of a multitude of pizzerias or two Chinese restaurants. Thankfully, we have Amada's Kitchen now for a great little eat-in or take-out restaurant. The food is fresh and authentic and Amada herself is just so sweet and friendly; you should definitely stop in for a meal. My wife and I sat at the little bar and enjoyed Amada's fajitas, vegetable nachos, empanadas and great fresh-squeezed lime margaritas. All served up with a smile. Be sure to take a take-out menu when you leave since Amada's is a great place to call in for dinner when you don't want to cook. It was like having a meal in a little restaurant in Jalisco, Mexico. We will return soon to have another happy meal with your hostess Amada.
