Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Vancouver. Steeped in history, Vancouver is the oldest city in Washington. Once the largest western outpost of the British Hudson's Bay Company, where supplies and food were bartered in the 1800s, it was closed in 1860 as Americans took over commerce. The outpost was later recreated as the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. For more history, check out the Pearson Air Field, the oldest operating airfield in the West, where vintage aircraft are displayed at the Pearson Air Museum. If adventure is your bag, Vancouver is the perfect base for day trips to the Columbia River Gorge, the breathtakingly beautiful 70-mile river stretch that cuts through the Cascade Mountains, or Mount St. Helens, the site of the famous volcano, both of which offer a slew of outdoor activities. For calmer pastimes, cruise the picturesque river in the Columbia Gorge riverboat, or visit Beacon Rock, the world's second largest monolith, where a walking trail leads to spectacular panoramic views.

We went here during the week and had the lunch buffet. I was somewhat disappointed in the buffet. There was many dishes out but nothing that was very recognizable. At a Mexican Buffet you would expect make your own tacos would be prominent however you had to find someone to give you a tortilla and then most of the containers of ingredients were covered with plastic wrap. Finally had to ask for shredded chicken. I didnât see any tamales at all and just a few small burritos. One thing that was very good was the corn pudding. This place might be better if you ordered off the menu, but I wouldnât do the buffet again.

Took several minutes to be seated (only one person in front processing guests paying and in-between, seating newcomers). Then we waited another 10 minutes for our server (who was very nice). Atmosphere has changed since our last visit. Techno 'runway music' too loud to talk & quite disruptive to relaxation. Unable to talk w/my spouse as a result. We ordered crispy tacos but they came soft. Portions were huge; food tasted ok though my fish tacos had tiny portions of fish. Chips & salsa "ok" but not wonderful. Server (once he came to our table - another 10 minute wait) was very nice. Doubt we'll return though. Flavors no longer the rich, homey Mexican we enjoyed there before. They've added MANY new items to their menu; lost the focus on why we chose to dine at this restaurant.

Weâre fairly new to Vancouver and have been trying different Mexican restaurants. This was our third time eating at Lindo Mexico and the staff and food has been consistently excellent .Fresh ingredients, nice sauces and good drinks. This food is authentic, just like you would find in the eateries in Puerto Vallarta, if you want Taco Bell flavors you will not find that here.

First off they dont put prices of there drinks on the menu but what i did ask about was 15 dollars and there food overpriced and tasted like they made it from sysco. Cheap and poor quality.

I have stopped by here after work for their happy hour. I had a good margarita and their street tacos. The server was friendly and busy! Nice little stop off for quality food and a good price.
