WOW! That one word summarizes our wine and dinner. Xato Cocina De II was our favorite wine and dinner in the Valle, second to none. The Chamorro (brined, smoked and cooked for a total of 34 hours) was fabulous and our favorite. The Raviolis De Camarón with fresh pasta were also very good. Bodegas Del Paraiso, the winery on the same property and owned by the same family 50 years is also a must experience. Both the Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo wines were perfect. With wine experience in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California and Baja California these wine hold their own against any Iâve experienced.

Cooking at Parcela 70 Our chef Alex Rubio uses ingredients from de region of Baja creating unexpected dinner menus that demonstrate the bridge of flavors between food and wine from Bodegas F. Rubio to produce a perfect balance on the palate.
Great location and view, peaceful and inviting. The patio and the restaurant look and feel nice. The food was really nice and flavorful and we enjoyed it very much, the ceviche was incredible. My issue with Parcela 70 is there is a schnauzer dog that either lives on the property or was the owners or staffs, I wish I was making this up but this dog pissed on the chair at the table we were sitting at! We were drinking wine and eating and he walks up and raises his leg and pees on the cushion of the chair, plus he barks a lot which is exactly the opposite of quite and relaxing. The other issue is the smoke from the grill pours over the patio and is very very very strong.Dear PhilFieldsThank you for taking the time to share your review with us. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve the guest experience. I was disappointed to learn of the shortcomings you expected and we´re currently taking steps to upgrade de wine and food tasting experience.

It is always a pleasure to walk into Sarmientos. I am there most often to satisfy a chiles rellenos craving. I love both he cheese and the picadillo varieties. When Miguel Fuentes, the proprietor of the restaurant and winery, is not on hand to greet you, his gracious and capable staff do a commendable job of making you feel welcome. The place is unpretentious and very reasonably priced. Most recently, I have had the chiles rellenos for take out.

The service was outstanding and the food was as well! I suggest ordering and sharing everything as our party of 5 tried the entire appetizer menu and one of the main dishes. The wine suggestion was out standing, it was our first time here and we can't wait to go back!

Family Vineyard, Winery & Restaurant At Bodegas F. Rubio, we concive the taste of our wines from the vineyard; therefore, we take care of each wine grape and each grape cluster to obtain a unique wine, a wine with personality.
I was just there with my wife celebrating our two year anniversary, and we absolutely loved this place. Service is excellent. It is managed and operated by a family that provides excellent service and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I want to point out that their wine is very good, but their food is out of this world. I have to say that if you ever get to visit this place you have to try the âquesatacos de borregoâ and also the âcostillas al adoboâ (picture attached) You will definitely love them.On our anniversary getaway we visited several vineyards and restaurant, but I have to say that the best food was served at Bodegas F. Rubio. Thanks to the Rubio family and specially muchas gracias Alex, y regresaremos pronto.Dear Happy Juan. Thank you for giving us a perfect rating and for recommending our restaurant Parcela 70 to other travelers. I'm sure our Bodegas F. Rubio staff enjoyed catering to your needs as much as you enjoyed your visit. Take care!

Regional cuisine with mediterranean touches. Breath-taking valley views, environment that is perfect for small or large social gatherings, friendly atmosphere and casual setting. Indoor and outdoor seating areas with beautiful rustic fire place.
I would not recommend eating here. My experience with my family of 13 was horrible. They charged us 400 pesos for using their table, 500 pesos for their service, and 65 pesos for each drink, not including refills. They did not tell us any of their extra prices until we got our check, which ended up being over 5,000 pesos, which is equivalent to almost $300.Dear 116zurigThank you for your visit and we appreciate your comments of our restaurantLet me follow up your experience to clear out and solve this situationWhen did you visit us? We sincerely hope we can amend this case soonBest regards!

Two of the three dinners we ordered were excellent, and the lamb stew was as good as we have had. The octopus, a specialty of the house, was disappointing, poorly cooked and served over a salad, which simply didn't work. Still, we enjoyed the meal--the wines we had were superb--until we tried to get the check. After asking three waiters, the people at the checkout, and waiting for 15 minutes w/o getting it, we were very frustrated. They claimed to have "lost it." So, I said, OK. I'm leaving and started to walk out the door. At that point, they miraculously produced the check. The checkout people--three of them--seemed entirely uninterested in doing their job. At that point, late in the evening, there didn't appear to be a manager present, so the employees obviously didn't care about their customers. We are sorry for the inconvenience you had at our establishment, we will certainly take notice upon this matter, as soon as possible. We hope we will have you back so we can give you the service you deserve

Everyone left well-sated, and impressed with the experience.Tank you very much for your vicit and a excelent review!!!! Hope we can have you back soon!!!!
