Canyon Cafe

A group of coworkers had lunch at Canyon Cafe and enjoyed it very much. The fried wontons are addictive! I wasn't very hungry so I only had chicken tortilla soup, but it was delicious. Coworkers had things from soup and salad to fajitas and all were happy with their orders. The staff was attentive and helpful!

Stopped here after a day at the Magic House Children’s Museum down the road. The tacos, chips/salsa/guacamole, corn casserole and the margarita were all delicious. Service was fantastic. The happy hour is great. Basically half price tacos and margaritas. it’s very casual and almost bar like...outside seating looks nice. My mother in law loved that she had a taco option without a lots of spices and cilantro! She said the best taco she has ever had! I enjoyed my fried green tomato taco and carnitas. My husband would recommend the west county house wife and the calamari taco! We loved it all and definitely will be back!

There is nothing wrong with Amigos Cantina, but there isn't anything amazing about it either. Typical Tex-mex, the options are definitely not authentic, but they are prepared well enough and priced just a bit high, though for Kirkwood pricing is probably spot on. Wouldn't rush to go back, but wouldn't avoid it either.
