I drove past this cafe on my way to Topanga and was surprised by the number of cars outside. On the way back, I popped in for a coffee and immediately fell in love - not only was the coffee strong and smooth but the staff were welcoming and helpful and the ambience was really relaxed. The Pistachio Morning Bun sealed the deal... I knew I would be back. When some girlfriends suggested meeting up, I had just the place... and we all agreed it is our new favorite place! One of my friends ordered a cup of tea and it was served in a cute antique chime cup with a tea strainer and real tea leaves - coming from England, this means a lot! The avocado toast was yummy and another friendâs wrap was given a big thumbs up too. The salads look wonderful and we will be coming back again to try them! You wonât be disappointed! Thereâs a reason for all the cars....

On a local recommendation we went to this week known Mexican restaurant. If crowds are indicative of quality then this is your place. We waited 40 minutes for a table on a Tuesday night. The house special is the homemade guacamole done table side. Well worth the order. The menu has plenty of choices to suite all food interests. Recommend to all.

Sagebrush Cantina has been a legend in Calabasas, CA for over 40 years. Sagebrush offers Southwestern dining options, live entertainment, plenty of outdoor seating, and several TV's showing all your favorite games.
dined on patio, which was pleasant. server Jeimmy was ok. Side guacamole, caesar salad, rice, & beans were nothing special - even boring. The chili relleno tasted like dish soap - thought maybe mildewed but didn't see any. the El Mexicano Burrito was huge and good. many beers on tap. limited sauvignon blanc wine. Inside restaurant smelled like strong detergent. not sure we'll return, but if we do will definitely try something else.Sorry to hear you weren't overly impressed with your visit. We understand everyone has different taste preferences, and that's OK. We look forward to helping you find something that better suits your taste next time. -The Sagebrush Cantina
