Cabanna Restaurant
Nice, upscale restaurant with excellent service. From small appetizers and drinks served while you wait (which was for a lesser amount of time than they said), to nice explanations of the menu, the service here was topnotch. The Cadillac Margarita was especially good and the meal choices were all well-prepared and fresh. All together, a very nice experience. I would definitely go there again.Thank you for your comment, it is very important to us to know our customer´s experience. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the service, drinks and food. I'm not joking, this is the best place for tacos ( shrimp, marlin, etc). Don't expect a fancy place because it's not. But it's all worth it

My husband and I had lunch here and were so impressed that the quality of the food and service were still terrific. The seafood is so fresh. We shared a appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. We started with the fish ceviche. It was very fresh and lemony on the palate. It was served with light tostadas, grimes yellow onions, and some spicy salsas. My husband really enjoyed those. We also ordered a mojito and a michelada. The minuto was good but not the mojito everyone knows. The michelada was very refreshing. We had the grilled octopus with garlic shrimp. The octopus was delicious, lightly seasoned and served with a gingery soy sauce. It really did not need it. The shrimp were tender and sweet. To finish the meal, we shared the caramel lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Both very good in a lovely presentation. The coffee I ordered was on the weak side. We will be back. Thank you for your comment, for us it is very important to know your experience. We are really glad to know that you and your husband enjoyed our food, service, drinks and dessert. We hope to see you soon so you can enjoy our fresh seafood.

Dining out well, to me, is dressing up for it with anticipation and traveling in good company, being taken care of by attentive servers who know just how good the food is, and, most of all, finding the Food Nirvana we all seek. Unsurprisingly, Mision 19 is on the other side of the wall, and I canât imagine not crossing over from San Diego to taste everything this place has to offer. More evidence Mexico is the side you want to be onâ¦My partner & I dined there during our visit to Tijuana this week. At the rave recommendation of Miguel, our host at the Air BnB we stayed in Colonia Federal just above his iconic art bar (with excellent food surrounding the fire pit): Cereus Bar (google them for Life & Food blog review).Mision 19 was more money than we often spend dining out - although by US standards, quite moderate. (We are expats who live in Mexico). Itâs more than worth every extra peso - from bread to postres. Our dinner included two (all shared) apps, the parfait of Blue-Fin tuna & an iceberg salad, then an organic milk roasted chicken, & two perfect desserts (just everything looked delicious, and they do serve a tasting menu), plus two glasses of a lovely Sauvignon Blanc: $61usd, including 20% tip.My partner is a chef who understands food better than anyone I personally know â and like the rest of us, Iâm a foodie. We eat out a lot, with excellent restaurants in San Miguel de Allende, where we live. But hereâs the thing: This was simply the best meal weâve had in a very long time. Just the best, every mouthful. Buena comida, Buena Vida - Buen Provecho mis amigos.

What a wonderful surprise. Tucked away in the suburbs, this delightful funky little restaurant serves delicious food and drink. With music added. My drink was unusual and delicious, fillet mignon with pepper sauce to die for. The desserts, date pie and cheesecake were amazing. Really reasonably priced as well. Do not miss this little gem.

We had food from a variety of "truck" vendors and all was excellent and well priced. My wife had tacos which she thought were fantastic, while I had a Portobello pitta. We also had from a different vendor a cucumber based very refreshing drink. A great place to have lunch! Thanks!!! Hope to see you soon!

We stayed in San Diego for a while and decided one weekday to take the trolly to the US/MX border at Tijuana just to wander around. A friend had recommended Caesar's for, of course, the Caesar Salad. It was wonderful! Highly recommend this historic restaurant in an historic hotel.

Had a hard time getting a wheelchair in to the restaurant. Thereâs a problem with building ramps for the Handicapped....but isnât this common throughout the whole Tijuana scenario? When they do build a ârampâ itâs so fukâ steep, narrow and dangerous. Itâs just scary. Get it in your stupid head tj people. If you donât know how to build something safe for the disabled, cross the stupid border and get an idea on how to do it right! .., and not empty a wheel barrel full of cement and call it done. Maybe one day you too will use it.Thank you very much for taking the time to share with us your point of view about your recent experience at Café de la Flor. Your comments are very important to us, as they give us the opportunity to serve you better.
