Things to do in Tepoztlan
What is Mesa de Origen? It is where the essence of a cuisine is found, the flavors that lead us to childhood, to the recipes of the grandmother, to the food of the market. The most essential and happy emotions that a good meal awakens us. Mesa de Origen,
Gorgeous design and beautiful view. The quesadillas and pizzas were delicious! My mother who was just recovering from a bout of Montezuma belly, got customized meals to better accommodate her delicate digestive system. We stayed at Amomoxtli and felt absolutely no urge to check out any of the other dining options in Tepoztlan.

It's a nice a quaint and unique atmosphere, the food is tasty, but for the high prices, they are incredibly chintzy, with ridiculously small portions that leave you hungry even after you've finished. We sometimes come here on special occasions from elsewhere, and we always hope that the service will be better and the food portions more generous. But even when they have few other customers, the service is incredibly slow and inept - so, for instance, rather than serve all of you simultaneously with your orders, be prepared for them to serve each of you between five and ten minutes apart. And if they serve your children last, be prepared for them to cry because they are hungry and they are watching you eat so your food won't get cold (and even if, like we do, you give your children part of your meal, they still of course want their own). They really need to work on this, and on being more generous with portions (I'd rather that they charge even more, even tho' prices are high, than leave you starving for more)

We heard about this place from a friend who lives in Tepoztlan . The location (just halfmile outside of town on entry road) as well as the beautiful building and fabulous staff made it one of our new favorite places. Plenty of parking in front and some stairs to climb to get in but spotlessly clean and food and service perfectly executed. Prices were low. Canât wait to go back.

â¢Our select restaurant "El Sibarita" culinary proposal is made for the most varied and refined tastes offering the guest typical dishes from the region such as the "Traditional Mole Tepozteco" as well as contemporary dishes and international recipe. â¢Our
Actually, as finalizing our trip, we wanted to go to a very good restaurant. Well, regarding prices we did.Looking at the empty place we should have reacted and leave, but since it had such a beautiful view on Tepoztlán we decided to stay. The served food was not bad. It was quite tasty, but it was almost cold when it arrived at the table. And the service was very slow. Not very attentive, and most probably in apprenticeship.Your comments helps to improve in quality and service, thanks to share with us.Best regards,

In the peninsula there is a road from Tijuana to La Paz: Between neighborhoods and seas, ovens in deserts scrubs like burners, you roast the clam Chocolata, the marlin is smoked, the Dinner guests rejoice. And today in the cool forest, under the Tepozteco
We were sent here by the owners of La Gartija Mezcal Club and oh, what a great place! Dining is in a nice outdoor setting, but the food is what's so outstanding. We went here twice and the first night had a delicious pork rib dish with a dark mole sauce. Along with this we had the duck carnitas, which were moist and succulent. We also ordered the Cesar salad, made right at the table. Fantastic. The second night we had fish dishes: a wonderful grilled octopus and also a Baja style fish. There is a nice selection of wine, also. Wait staff are very professional. One of the nice touches is they grow their lettuce leaves right in the dining room, so the sous chef comes and picks them fresh right in front of you!Agradecemos mucho sus comentarios y sobretodo nos complace aun mas, que ustedes la hubiesen pasado tan bien entre nosotros. Esperamos pronto verles de nuevo en este rinconcito de México

Los Colorines was a bit of a disappointment, with an interesting menu but somewhat bland food. Between my wife's broccoli and my chile relleno, both battered, fried, and accompanied with a tomato sauce, we were underwhelmed by dishes at best on par with Mexican restaurants in the U.S. We dined at Los Colorines on a rainy weekday evening, and were one of only 2-3 parties in the entire place. Perhaps because of these circumstances, the staff seemed motivated to get us served and out ASAP, and service was surprisingly icy.

Everything in this restaurant is just perfect, the food is awesome, anything you ask for is delicious. The restaurant environment is incredible, there is nature all around you, they have an amazing garden and trees, the service is great, everybody is kind and willing to help, it is a place you want to come back

El Ciruelo is a sophisticated and elegant dining experience, delivered in casual and lovely surroundings. We stopped in for a midday meal on a Wednesday, and joined a dozen or so other diners on the rear patio with beautiful views of the mountains. Our lunch consisted of the duck enchiladas, which were delicious, and covered with a green pipian mole that was richly flavorful and mildly spiced. We also enjoyed the shrimp tacos with plantains.Prices are on the high side, but the experience is one of an elegant restaurant, a step up from most of the surrounding venues. Service is attentive and professional, and while my wife speaks fluent Spanish, they also appeared comfortable with English.

Let yourself be trapped by a restaurant with its own personality and young concept, which revives the foundations of Anderson's Group: Friends serving friends. La Vicenta, experts in the grill, offers a gastronomic proposal of the first level for the youn
I believe this sentence summarizes the whole visit:"Sir, your medium rare steak stayed too long under our kitchen heating lights and now it looks overcooked, do you want it like this?"The quality of the meats and food in general was poor, the waiter was rude and not knowledgeable. I'm not returning there.HelloWe appreciate the time you took to write a review about us, we'd like to know all the details about your experience, is there a phone number where we can reach you?
