We have eaten Don Cairoâs many times and recommend anything on the menu - if you like cafe Mexican food. Service is usually a bit uptight upon arrival, probably because staff must move a lot of eaters through their tiny space (sits probably 35) at every popular eating time. Consider it a local dive that cooks down-Home Mexican food. Many choices and a kids menu w/ American favorites. Everything served fresh to the table in a timely manner and soon guests witness the (very) hard and quick work of the service personnel. Itâs like eating at Grammaâs kitchen.

We were just passing thru and Cara wanted Mexican food, so we stopped in and the place was packed. We sat right down and ordered beers and waters and the beers came but the water didn't come till half way thru the meal. We both ordered fajitas and the steak was tough and dry and had no flavor. Cara will think twice before she wants Mexican again.
