Admittedly, we haven't dined at a Chili's for some time. I guess we were just burnt out after years of the same fare from Chili's, Bennigan's, Applebee's, Friday's and a dozen other cookie-cutter grill and bar type of outlets. On this occasion, we were on our way to a weekend camping adventure and were looking for our last sit-down meal for a few days. Walking in the door, we noticed that the decor had changed. The eclectic artwork and other items that used to cover every wall were gone. So were the obnoxious colors. In their place, the decor was now more "modern cafe" than a mid-80's Tex-Mex eatery. The menu has also changed and we were surprised to find items such as Margherita Flatbread, Southwestern Eggrolls, California Club Sandwich and grilled Salmon. Much to our amazement, we really enjoyed our meal. Hopefully this isn't a one-time experience, as we would love to try more of the new menu items soon.

I went here for tacos to go and chose two pork tacos with cilantro and onion with guac and chips on the side. The guac was homemade and possibly the best I've ever had, I've spent years perfecting guac and wouldn't want to compete in a guac off with this connoisseur. The chips were excellent. The tacos were great. I was surprised by the cheese and would request that it be omitted next time, but could see how some might find that it adds value. The service was friendly. There were several folks ordering food to go as well.

The best legitimate Mexican restaurant around here. They also have shredded beef, which is really hard to find. And a mole a sauce! Everything we've eaten there has been fantastic and it is our regular spot now. Never crowded, which seems odd for as good as the food is, we always walk right in and sit down. Love this place.

So disappointed to be in Tarpon Sorings just for the day. I wouldâve loved to try everything on the menu. Tacos were delicious. Chicken tamale was flavorful. Chips? Yum!!! Service was friendly and efficient. Donât be turned off by the location next to the liquor store!! Next time Iâm in tarpon springs, I buying a bunch to go so I can wash it down with a couple margaritas at home. Enjoy!

went to their restaurant in strip center on US 19 just north of Klosterman Rd. on W. side for lunch. Was pretty good! $1 taco's 11a-3p. We tried 5 (w/dif. meats and some w/rice, some w/pot's, all on fresh corn tortillas) and they were small and yummy. salsa bar is small but packed w/flavor. Red salsa was very spicy, green was creamy and good and guac was excellent. Also tried a torta sandwich (carne asada) and it was good...bread warm and a little greasy (the good kind) and salty good...comes w/beans on it. they serve breakfast! lots to try on their menu. Just under $20 for lunch inc. drinks....tried a guava soda. Place is a little divey, table wobbly, maybe not the cleanest but yummy...we'll be back!
