Reviews on Mexican food in St. George, Utah, United States. St. George is central to some of the most dramatic natural beauty in the American West, from the Mojave Desert to Zion National Park and the Pine Valley Mountains. While its summers are hot, St. George's mild and largely snow-free winters make it popular with golfers, hikers and bikers. In fact, Brigham Young wintered here – his home in town is open to the public.

Having tried both Durango and Chipotle, I agree with others who say Durango is a step up. One of us had a terrific chicken burrito, the other had a very good chicken salad. Food was very tasty, line where we ordered moved rapidly, and the cost was modest. We were there about noon. Despite the fact that there are many restaurants in the area, this one was very busy.

We went there tonight on Cinco De Mayo!Had to reservations and were told that we had to wait due to a lack of staff (this is a Mexican restaurant that was understaffed on Cinco De Mayo ) !!!Consequently, the service was terrible! Had to wait a long time for a simple Margarita! Tried to order another one and it never came !!The food , itself, was â ehâ !!!Will never go back !!

Probably one of the better Mexican restaurants out of the dearth of establishments in St. George. This one feels more authentic and less cookie-cutter. They actually have beef tongue on the menu.I liked my food. I also like that thereâs a pleasant outdoor area to eat to balance out the small amount of inside seating. This is definitely a place to try out.

Our daughter recommended this restaurant and we went there for the first time. The food was great, the facility was a bit worn down. I had two mini tacos, steak and carnitas. My wife had a carnitas burrito. The tortillas were homemade. There is a salsa bar. I loved the horchata. We will go there again. The cost is inexpensive.

We ended up here because Paulaâs Mexican Restaurant no longer serves alcohol and we were not disappointed. The warm chips and chunking homemade salsa was delicious. Get the guacamole and chips, you wonât be disappointed. You get plenty of food so go hungry. The Margaritaâs were good but because of Utah State Laws the alcohol content is lower - but we are from Wisconsin, if you know what I mean. Zelda was our server and she was extremely friendly and had such a sweet spirit. She definitely knows what great customer service is all about. All the best to Zelda as she begins her journey at Dixie State. If you have Zelda as your server you will be treated well. EnJoy!!!

Upon opening, we had to side step the wet mopped floors upon entering at 11:35am. They advertise open at 11:30. The food was not ready, and they stated that if you wanted steak on the burritos it would be another 15 minutes. Im puzzled why they would not be prepared and ready for business according to the hours posted on the door. After speaking to the Manager, he stated feel free to call corporate, im not worried. Wow! I wouldn't want that attitude running any of my business's. We left and took our business elsewhere. I spend my money where people appreciate it. This place does not qualify.

we did take out for 4 people it was delicious! all levels of spice/heat available. great chili relleno (but a bit spicy), burritos, tacos, excellent. super nice service too. wish they had better delivery options, as that double roundabout to get there is a bit hairy! good value too! lots of great food for the money!

Angelica's Mexican Grill, is not like any other Mexican Restaurant you have ever been to. All our food is made from scratch, with the freshest ingredients available. Angelica's has a open Salsa Bar, with 5 different salsas, with Pico de Galllo, cut cabbag
Hi Iâm from Vegas and I bought a torta last year and it was really good it came full of meat and everything but today I bought another one and I asked for two of them and I declined at the option of tips so I see the lady put it down on the register, I go back to my hotel to eat and thereâs very little meat on both of them, for being 15 dollars a piece I was left very disappointed that the food is affected whether or not tips are left.I am sorry your Tortas did not come with the amount of meat you desired. We work very hard for consistency in our quality and food portions. As for the tip. The cashier does not know if you leave a tip or not on our new system and wether a tip is left or not does not affect the cooks food preparation. We got the new system so that we would not have to handel customer,s cards and get better reporting and give more tips to our servers and cooks, We the owners do not take a share of tips it is all passed on the workers.

Our passion and love for serving the best Mexican food started in 1993 nearly 23 years ago at our original address 500 South with Bluff St. in St. George. In a modest, and humble place where we served delicious recipes of the most authentic Mexican flavor
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Zion. Small restaurant in what seems to be an old house. Very nicely decorated in Mexican Art. We were seated quickly and had our drink order taken right away. My daughter had the Veggie Burrito which was full of veggies and had a great sauce. My son and wife had the taco plates which were also very good. The rice and beans were excellent, this is super important to us so many places have very bland beans and rice. I had the Chicken Enchilada Platter ``a la cilantro` `which was excellent, really a great surprise. The salsa was very good as well as the guacamole. Canât wait to stop here again.
