Taqueria El Amigo is an authentic family run Mexican restaurant. It is a small neighborhood eatery, nothing fancy but really good food. The prices are very reasonable and my wife and I have always felt welcome, even though we don't speak Spanish. If you are looking for authentic Mexican cooking this is it.

Unlike other Taco Bell's in the Country my wife and I are extremely satisfied with this particular Taco Bell. We have been coming to this Taco Bell for more than 10yrs, we are always and completely satisfied with every visit. Not only for the way they make our food to perfection just the way we want it but also the service we receive from the Staff.I would like to say that Lee who seems to always take our order is very respectful, helpful and extremely professional at all times. After placing our order she always reads it back to us to make sure she is placing the order exactly how we want it. She certainly makes us feel like valued customer's. She is definitely the first face you see upon entering Taco Bell. My wife loves their Chicken Chalupas which is what she always gets and I normally order the XL Grilled Stuffed Burrito or lately I have been ordering the Cravings Deal Box for $5 which is a heck of a deal. The food selection is great and our food like I said earlier is always made to perfection by the Staff. There are other Staff member's who I would like to take this time to recognize for their exceptional work they all do. Vivian who I believe is the Assistant Store Manager is always greeting us with a bright smile, she is certainly one of a kind. There are two cooks that I normally request to make our food since they do an amazing job in making the food are both Blaine and Brad. These guys do an awesome job in the kitchen, definitely worth the money I spend at Taco Bell. I am very well aware that there are hundreds of Taco Bell in all the US but this one we really enjoy. Anyone who hasn't gone to this particular Taco Bell I strongly recommend you do. You will see that not only will the food be made to perfection but the service you'll receive is phenomenal. My wife and I really appreciate everyone's effort to make this a wonderful establishment for the general public to enjoy! Thanks!!!

I love, love this place. A new favorite and I'll go every time I visit Beloit. If you get a burrito, don't forget to order sauce. The enchiladas are fantastic, service is beyond exceptional, and margaritas are perfecto! Not too sweet. I'll be back as often as possible.

This use to be the Fuentes Mexican - changed management and cooks. It's even better than before, if that's possible. Homemade tortillas, the best chilli rellenos I've ever had, fantastic tamales, enchiladas and tacos pastor. The guacamole's excellent too. It's all fresh and it's all good!
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
I like Taco Johns franchise a lot. Some locations get it and some don't. This one does. Food is served hot and fresh. Service comes with a smile and an occasional tattoo. Overall, great location.
Where to eat Asian food in South Beloit: The Best Restaurants and Bars
In my view there are three genre of Mexican food. There's the fast food chains, the Americanized restaurants run by Mexicans and then there are the authentic Mexican restaurants like the Taco Loco. They offer most of the traditional meats like tongue, goat and vegetables like cactus etc. to prepare their meals. The Taco Loco is small, maybe seating for 12. We were greeted as soon as we entered and asked if we wanted carryout or dine in. We were dinning in so we were seated and asked what we'd like to drink. A dish of freshly fried tortilla chips and a bowl of pickled carrots, onions and jalapeños were placed on our table. We ordered guacamole and the order was immediately hollered back to the kitchen. They have a large and varied menu. My wife ordered a taco plate with rice and beans. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada, tongue taco and burial taco. All were well prepared and very tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. We're looking forward to our next opportunity to dine here again.

We went on a Thursday night and were the first of the dinner crowd. VERY friendly staff, and very attentive. The table was sticky, the chips were excellent, but wasn't a fan of the salsa that they charge $3 for. The fajitas didn't have a lot of flavor, but were good. I had a mango margarita on the rocks (because that is the only way they serve them) for $8 - good - but not worth $8. All in all, I hope it makes it, Beloit is up and coming and needs family friendly restaurants, but I probably won't go back again.

Food was plentiful and ok but the service witness was terrible. Salsa was descent with it being sweet (my partner does not care for) but the other food was lacking in flavor. Last time we ate here I remember the food bursting full of flavor/ spice but this time it needed salt and hot sauce which was disappointing. The main reason why I rated this terrible was we witnessed a male waiter (not our waiter) coughing in his hands multiple times while serving another table's food and also grabbing them a to go box without ever washing his hands! We will not return.

Experience bold, worldly flavors in the heart of downtown Beloit. Whether itâs our Peking duck taco, house-made corn tortillas or selection of over 100 global tequilas and whiskeys, youâll notice we donât do conventional. At trukât, we like to keep things
Love coming here! Stopped by last Wednesday and Danielle (my favorite bartender) always greets me right away and starts on my drink, she remembers my order and is very friendly! She gave great menu recommendations and is fun to talk to. Always impressed by the friendly staff. Thanks!
