From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a smile. The entire staff shows a warmth and friendliness that makes the experience of eating at Cielo Blue a pleasure. They have great cocktails and the food is excellent. The menu is very fairly priced and you never feel rushed or ignored. The tacos are a little on the small side, but they are very affordable. From a quick glance around at the other tables, it looked like five tacos was a pretty standard order size. There is a small salsa bar with slaw and lime wedges. Everything was very flavorful.

This was the absolute worst dining experience Iâve ever had in my life. The restaurant wasnât even that busy. We had 6pm reservations. Our drink order wasnât taken until 6:20pm. Our food had not arrived by 7:30pm and we had a show to see at 8pm. When we asked where our food was we were told it was still being cooked. We asked to speak to a manager four times; we had another waiter come over and pretend like he was. He thought he was doing us a favor by not including the food on the bill - the food that we NEVER received. When I told him I wasnât going to pay for it anyway he told me he was going to CALL THE POLICE!! Are you freaking serious?!? My husband and I were treating my parents to dinner to celebrate my fatherâs 65th birthday. All he got were chips and a smokey salsa. I asked for the âpretend managerâsâ name and he refused to give it to me. He was a light skin African American with tight braids and a beard. He was the epitome of rude, threatening me and my family. All because we would have liked to have our food in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Are you serious?? It was the absolute worst service with the most demeaning person to pretend to be a manager. I hope to God no one ever has the same experience we had tonight.Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Kelli. Weâre so very sorry to have let your family down, especially on such a special occasion, as you were celebrating your fathers birthday. We take great pride in our fare and providing top-notch service to all of our guests, and it sounds like we really missed the mark when you joined us. Cant believe it took me 2 years to try. I think I will be back at least once a week..the menu is large. The flavor combos amazing. Great value. Good service. Want to try everything on the menu...the worst part is too many decisions...but that's OK, i will keep coming back to try more.

Still my favorite Mexican restaurant for all the good reasons, namely excellent taste and good price. But this time felt we're a bit pushed. Friday afternoon push starts around 4:30 and today it appeared to be unexpected. Staff was doing utmost to keep up with the flow, which, in our case initially felt we were being pushed to order and eat quickly and leave and about an half hour into the meal unattended felt a little like orphans. It clearly was a staffing issue. Staff was clearly pushed but never lost their friendly bearing. Overall it didn't matter much as it didn't affect the quality of the food.My burrito Tampiqueno has been excellent ever since I ordered it almost 10 years ago.
