It is situated just north of the "Missouri Bootheel", although many locals consider Sikeston a part of it. By way of Interstate 55, Interstate 57, and U.S. Route 60, Sikeston is close to the halfway point between St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee and three hours from Nashville, Tennessee. The city is named after John Sikes, who founded it in 1860. It is the principal city of the Sikeston Micropolitan Statistical Area, which consists of all of Scott County, and has a total population of 41,143.

This family run business is quick and always hot, fresh, and delicious. MANY patrons including my family are regular customers. We average 2-3 times a week. This is our go-to place for eating out. I cannot name the best dish to order because I've never been let down. From nachos to Fajitas served sizzling hot to your table, this is a great place to get your Mexican on! Alcoholic drinks are served as well even though they do not have . bar so to speak. Outdoor patio is available too.

We eat at El Nopalito on Sunday. In your page, you state they are closed on Sunday. Not sure if they used to be closed on Sunday but they arenât anymore. They have great Mexican food.

This place has the best food--you are always craving it. They had another in Jackson MO but are opening a new one in New Madrid, MO where I work. Everyone you talk to gives this place two thumbs up. Must list.

The food here isn't quite as good as what we had when we lived in Texas. But we had an enjoyable meal, certainly better than what we might have expected from a Mexican restaurant in the mid-West. We'll definitely be back as future trips take us through Sikeston.

This is one of the cleanest and fastest taco bell drive thru I've been through. My order was actually right and my food was actually tasty. This is a good franchise location.
