The menu is small. The hours of operation are not always as posted (I think they just kind of work when the mood suits them). The location off the beaten path. The waitress/greeter is funny. The food arrives quickly. The prices aren't horrendous. And I gotta tell you, the fry bread I had here was the best fry bread I've ever had in my life; it was extremely light and very tasty. Would definitely be a "5" rating if they honored their posted hours...
Get some of the best fresh fruits in this small hideaway restaurant! Choose from mango's, watermelon, & strawberry's to name a few. Or try the great selection of tacos! They have many other options like: tortas, enchiladas, chilindrina's or guaraches! All of them are GOOD.
This is like the geriatric, coffee-drinking hangout of the town. However, I give them high marks because they have the tastiest and most-affordable biscuits and gravy in town. Plus they carry Gering Bakery doughnuts and rolls.
We moved to this area and had a hard time finding a Mexican restaurant that was consistently good food, good atmosphere(family Friendly), and had good service. This place has it all. We have been going there for months now so I feel safe in stating this. We most recently went for breakfast, it was great food options for us burritos my kids, pancakes ect. The prices for breakfast are more than reasonable! Prices in general are good especially for a family. You will not leave hungry! The staff is very friendly and seem to like there job. We are to the point that when we come in she is starting our drinks. We appreciate good service and great food it is ours go to Mexican restaurant here.

It's called "Taco" Town, and tacos are the first thing on the menu, so I figured I would try a couple of those. They were really quite boring. This taco "comes with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and tomato" she said. Mine had one small chunk of tomato on it. Where there was cheese, it wasn't bad, but there wasn't enough to save it. The hot sauce on the tables was awful. I had a cheese enchilada because I figured the tacos weren't big, but I was wrong about that. The tacos were too big. The enchilada was actually pretty good, but that was just because it was a good mix of cheese - otherwise there would have been nothing special about it. So, it's fine, but nothing to go out of your way for.

This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is inexpensive and delicious. The decor is modest, with about 9-10 tables that sit 2-4 people. The food is the focal point and it is so good and authentic that it attracts a broad base of customers. You can order carry out and many people did just that. Service was friendly and helpful. We will return for sure.

My husband and I eat these often! The pork chili flavor is amazing and like gravy! Add rice and they are even better. 5 stars plus.

The wife and I thought it was time to visit La Bonita for lunch. Our meal was good and authentic Mexican style preparation, based on our experiences out-of-the-country. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as was the other dining room help. The portions were about right and there were no leftovers for a foam box.

I wasn't expecting much -- we were referred here by another restaurant as they were closing, and picked it because Scottsbluff is known for their Mexican fare. We were surprised, bordering on astonished, at their creativity. Their chips are handmade, with an airy and soft texture that defies being soggy. (A friend tells me she's seen chips like this in Los Angeles, but they might be unique east of the Rockies.)I sampled their best-known dish, the panchos, which puts these chips to good use. Excellent work. Others in our party had more traditional fare, which they also loved. I snagged a friend's sopapilla when she couldn't finish - it was probably the best I've ever had. This is really a gem -- an absolute necessity if you're visiting the area.
