Dunellen is tiny borough in central NJ.There is nothing worth mentining about this this borough except the beautiful, large old time houses on South Washington avenue. In the past decade, a good number of Latinos have moved in there and as as result, shops and small eateries catering to them have comeup. However, the atmospher in and around is such that you won't feel comfortable going to these. Therefore, although had seen this place literally hundreds of time and wanted to give it a try, I never went beyond thinking.Last Friday, it was very heavily raining and therefore instead of going far, I decided to give this place a try.We were greeted nicely. The waiter was also courteous and friendly. The food was average, nothing out of the box .Also, this is a BYOB place.Thank you for your review.

If youâre in the Plainfield, Fanwood, Scotch Plains, Westfield area stop in to Freppes (South Ave and Terrill Road). Iâve been coming here since they opened and they have absolutely gotten much better over the years. Food is delicious, service is excellent. BYOB I go all the time. Seafood Burrito is one of my favorites! Enjoy!

Among the variety of fast-food places for Mexican-style food, this particular Qdoba is one of the best in the area. The shop is clean, the workers are cheerful and helpful, and I have to say that the burrito or burrito bowl can be configured to be a big but quite healthy meal, with whole wheat burritos, brown rice, and a series of choices avoiding the higher-animal-fat products like queso. But without paying extra, the choices are impressive, with lots of grilled veggies, delicious fresh guac, and now mango salsa on top of the usual stuff. The only thing they don't have, and some other chains do, is a seasoned tofu option. But everything tasted great and we were very happy with that lunch before tackling some needed shopping in the nearby Watchung Square Mall. Be aware, it is a little awkward but not dangerous to enter that parking lot: note the signs for BJs to enter off Route 22, and then you will turn left before BJs to get to the restaurant at the "front" of that mall. You have to exit that mall completely to enter the big Watchung Square Mall.
