The acoustics inside are terrible. There always seems to be loud families in the dining room and the sound bounces off the ceiling so every noise carries. It's more pleasant to sit outside if weather permits. My hubby likes the cheese enchiladas. I usually get the salad with salmon or fish tacos. The Santa Fe salad is too big. There's a salsa bar with about 8 different salsas, so that helps spice things up as desired. Small $5 margaritas are a nice little treat. Overall, it's ok. I really wish they would hire a noise consultant to add something to dampen the sound inside.

This is a great local, authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is so delicious! I enjoyed the carnitas taco combination meal and the portion size for this combination meal is perfect. The three carnitas tacos are very flavorful, the beans and rice are perfectly made and very tasty.

What does it take for a small family-owned restaurant to survive 20 years in an out-of-the-way shopping center in south San Ramon? Enrique and his family! Wonderful southern Mexican food. My fav are the Ensenada Fish Tacos. Everything I've tried was great and so fresh. Inside and outside dining. They made the mosaic table tops themselves. Lots of love in this place!

When in the shopping center at Target or Whole Foods, I often eat lunch here. My go to are the Americano steak tacos...but I have also had other items as well.It is a fast food place with fresh veggies...and fresh food...never microwaved or frozen. That is important to me.The steak tacos are always tender...the salsa bar has fresh cut up cilantro which I love...and several different salsas including my favorite, mango.Yes, it is a chain and not a restaurant for a sit down nice dinner, but for a quick stop for lunch while out shopping, it is a favorite.
