Discover Restaurants offering the best Mexican food in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, Mexico. San Pedro Cholula is a municipality in the Mexican state of Puebla and one of two municipalities which made up the city of Cholula. The city has been divided into two sections since the pre Hispanic era, when revolting Toltec-Chichimecas pushed the formerly dominant Olmec-Xicallanca to the eastern side of the city in the 13th century. The new lords called themselves Cholutecas and built a new temple to Quetzalcoatl on the San Pedro side, which eventually eclipsed the formerly prominent Great Pyramid of Cholula, now on the San Andrés side. When the Spanish arrived in the 16th century, the city of Cholula was an important religious and economic center, but the center of power was on the San Pedro side, centered on what is now the main city plaza and the San Gabriel monastery. The division of the city persisted and San Pedro remained the more dominant, with Spanish families moving onto that side and the rest of the population quickly becoming mestizo. Today, San Pedro is still more commercial and less residential than neighboring San Andrés with most of its population employed in industry, commerce and services rather than agriculture. Although Cholula's main tourist attraction, the Pyramid, is in San Andrés, San Pedro has more tourism infrastructure such as hotels, restaurants and bars.

We needed a quick and reasonably priced meal before catching an overnight bus. This fit perfectly. I really enjoyed the plate of 3 flautas, one chicken, one bean and one cheese. The lemon and cucumber water is also tasty!

Lunches, entries, specialities, dinners, and mexican food.
The restaurant is a bit fancy, is not like eating at somebody's place from the street. Is very clean and from the beginning our experience was good and the service was excellent. Because we stayed just one day in Cholula,we decided to try this place and it was a good choice. The food is amazing and at the end, chossing the menu (85pesos per person....such a deal!!!), we had plenty of food at a resonable price and excellent quality. Thank you !

We found La Casa de Frida quite by accident when returning from the Mercado. The decor is colorful and spacious as compared to many CHOLULA cafes. They have many great Mexican selections and they arrive steaming and sizzling from the grill. A very nice experience.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast and by chance passed by this place. There was a Bakery on the outside (belonging to the Restaurant) that called our attention. We entered and the environment looked nice. We decided to sit for breakfast. There were about 4 groups before us waiting to be seated and the hostess informed us that it would take a while until our turn. We waited, bought some bread (Excellent!!). The Menu is not too big, only some dishes. We asked for a Sandwich Mostovoi and eggs with potatoes, coffe, chocolate and orange juice to drink. The taste was great!!, the portion was good and the service, starting by the hostess reallygood.

What a wonderful discovery. Our hotel was just down the street, so we passed the gate to this restaurant a dozen times while we were in Cholula. It looked 'nice' from the outside, but we always had somewhere else to go. Finally, we decided to give it a try, persuaded somewhat by the young man and woman who were walking up and down the street showing the menu to tourists like us. The menu looked interesting so we decided to go in. I'm very happy we did. The restaurant is set in an old colonial house, with a fantastic tree shaded courtyard. The sound of the fountain was a delightful accompaniment to our meal. The menu was varied and interesting, with delightful takes on many Mexican classics. I had the tacos al-Arabe, which were outstanding, with their chipotle salsa truly highlighting the meal. The fresh lemonade was excellent, not too sweet as many places make it. I do recommend this restaurant, such a pleasant place. The service was excellent as well.

After searching Cholula and Puebla for three weeks, we struck gold with Mitto Cinco.Look no further if you are looking for a perfect sea bass, excellent sauce, and service. The chefs, Pepi Louis and Mary are the best husband wife owners and operators that deliver a professional dinning experience. My only problem is that trio advisor can not allow me to give Motto Cinco six star.Thank you for your beautiful words!! It was a pleasure to meet you, and we are really glad to know that our effort makes our friends and clients happy! Thank you!

Restaurante-Bar con especialidad en Agaves . Contamos con mas de 25 tipos de destilados de Agaves. Mas de 20 estilos de cervezas Artesanales. Comida mexicana contemporánea. CafeterÃa. Pet Friendly.
Be prepared to be entertained by the servers, chef, and staff. The service inside has limited seating, so reservations are encouraged. We lucked out on a Sunday night when most restaurants close or close early. The table next to ours (locals) were served an exotic drink prepared at the table with flame and flare. Don't miss the opportunity to sample this local treasure.
