Nice place. Good Service. Clean. We offer hotel and dorms.
Don't believe any of their advertising signs out front for happy hour or drunk specials because you're probably being baited. We went here for a beer because they were advertising Victoria beer on a sign right outside their door for 9Q each. No fine print or asterisks or anything. We then go to pay and they were like 14Q each. Not a huge difference, but we were in a budget. We pointed out the error and were told the special was for the smaller Victoria beers, which I had never seen once in my 3 weeks in Guatemala (and after drinking lots of beer there), and which the server here never even offered us. The sign was very misleading. That's the only reason we even stopped there was because of their sign advertising 9Q Victorias. Be very skeptical of any special they advertise and ask many questions.
Best South American food near San Juan la Laguna, Western Highlands, Guatemala
Best burgers in San Pedro according to both locals and visitors. We offer a stunning rooftop patio area where you can eat and enjoy a relaxing view of the lake. Locally owned by Pedrano family.
For a place called Big Burger, you'd think ordering a burger would be safe. Ordered a cheeseburger and the pattie was charred. The cheese was the plastic square cheese. Partner ordered chips with cheese & bacon - same plastic cheese and no flavour bacon. Service was friendly. Please feel free to return your burger if it is not cooked the way you ordered! We like to please our customers.
Top 6 Middle Eastern food in San Juan la Laguna, Western Highlands, Guatemala
JC's BBQ is the best place to get a meal in San Pedro for many reasons. First, it has excellent food that includes the best ribs that I've ever had. The owner lived in Texas for a while so he knows how to make them even better than what you'd find in the ribs capital of the world. Service was excellent and I loved that the indoor restaurant was warm (compared to all the outdoor restaurants down by the water). The wifi was the best we've had in 3 weeks in San Pedro. Highly recommend a trip up from the lake to this gem in the real city of San Pedro! To get there: Walk straight up from the Santiago dock until it flattens out, about a block before the market area and you'll see JC's BBQ sign. If coming from the Pana dock, walk up to the market area and take a left when you hit the market area. There is a Sarita ice cream shop on the corner where you take a left and its less than a block down on the right.
