This use to be the Fuentes Mexican - changed management and cooks. It's even better than before, if that's possible. Homemade tortillas, the best chilli rellenos I've ever had, fantastic tamales, enchiladas and tacos pastor. The guacamole's excellent too. It's all fresh and it's all good!
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
I like Taco Johns franchise a lot. Some locations get it and some don't. This one does. Food is served hot and fresh. Service comes with a smile and an occasional tattoo. Overall, great location.
In my view there are three genre of Mexican food. There's the fast food chains, the Americanized restaurants run by Mexicans and then there are the authentic Mexican restaurants like the Taco Loco. They offer most of the traditional meats like tongue, goat and vegetables like cactus etc. to prepare their meals. The Taco Loco is small, maybe seating for 12. We were greeted as soon as we entered and asked if we wanted carryout or dine in. We were dinning in so we were seated and asked what we'd like to drink. A dish of freshly fried tortilla chips and a bowl of pickled carrots, onions and jalapeños were placed on our table. We ordered guacamole and the order was immediately hollered back to the kitchen. They have a large and varied menu. My wife ordered a taco plate with rice and beans. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada, tongue taco and burial taco. All were well prepared and very tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. We're looking forward to our next opportunity to dine here again.

We went on a Thursday night and were the first of the dinner crowd. VERY friendly staff, and very attentive. The table was sticky, the chips were excellent, but wasn't a fan of the salsa that they charge $3 for. The fajitas didn't have a lot of flavor, but were good. I had a mango margarita on the rocks (because that is the only way they serve them) for $8 - good - but not worth $8. All in all, I hope it makes it, Beloit is up and coming and needs family friendly restaurants, but I probably won't go back again.

Food was plentiful and ok but the service witness was terrible. Salsa was descent with it being sweet (my partner does not care for) but the other food was lacking in flavor. Last time we ate here I remember the food bursting full of flavor/ spice but this time it needed salt and hot sauce which was disappointing. The main reason why I rated this terrible was we witnessed a male waiter (not our waiter) coughing in his hands multiple times while serving another table's food and also grabbing them a to go box without ever washing his hands! We will not return.

The food here is authentic and really good. The serve warm tortilla chips made on site. Portions are really big so order accordingly. The prices are quite good considering the quality and portion size. I highly recommend a visit to Sabrisa.

No spice at all, why? No hot salsa no flavor.Requsted fried green onions cebollaâ and recieved sauted regular onions. Steak was over chewy with in steak tacos. Request hot salsa and waiter pointed to table hot commercial bottled hot sauce in table. Authentic mexican reataurant, not at all. Chips for salsa tasted lije it was from a bag and not fresh. Very disappointed will not be back. Need major revamping.
