The service here was amazing. There was an older woman running the drive through window and she had an absolutely positive personality. It made you want to sit there and talk to her all day long. The food was okay, definitely not something that I would brag about, but it wasn't horrible either. Overall this is a good place to go to for a quick bite to eat.
I am assuming the role of restaurant critic tonight. Gerrit and I decided to check out Los Primos this evening after someone recently posted about it on Facebook. We weren't encouraged when we walked in at 5 p.m. on a Friday and were the only people in there for nearly an hour until right before we left. By that time there were 9 customers. But I am posting this because the food was very good - better Mexican than I have had anywhere else in Rock Springs. So we need more people to go there so maybe it will stay in business. My plate of cheese-covered everything was a chile relleno, beef tamale, and cheese enchilada. The red sauce had good flavor, the tamale was moist and not overwhelmed by masa, the cheese enchilada was hot and melty, and the relleno was full of flavor. Gerrit considered getting fajitas but decided for chicken enchiladas (because he makes the best fajitas in town - which he does!). Those were also very good. The only downside was that the iced tea I ordered was sweet (bleah!!) - all they have. I asked for lemon and got two halves of lime, but half a lime tempered down the sweetness a bit. Ok, they have a few kinks to work out.So check out Los Primos sometime [soon].

The person taking the order at the drive through wouldn't listen while you were trying to order. Instead he continuously talked over you and rushed you through, though there was no one else in line behind us. This made it impossible for him to get the order right which was very upsetting for my kids when they opened the food.
Authentic Mexican food in downtown Rock Springs. A family business serving homemade Mexican meals from tacos to fajitas to margaritas! Local favorites are the chile verde burrito and chile rellenos, must have dessert is the fried ice cream.
The meals were delicious, authentic and well presented. Our companion declared the chili relleno to be one of the best she had ever eaten. My wife enjoyed the carnitas, slow-cooked and flavorful pork with just the right level of spice. I had a carne asada burrito that was most satisfying. The dining room is spartan, the service attentive. We all liked this place.

We were looking for Mexican food and Los Caboâs was okay. We started with drinks. Modelo for my husband and a classic margarita. Great. Immediately we were served chips and salsa which were good. We ordered the burrito carne asada which was okay. We split it beteeen the two of us. Our server was Alicia did a great job.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little Mexican restaurant in a shopping center. It's not fancy, you need to order your food cafeteria style and tell them what you want in your salad or enchilada. The ingredients were all fresh. They were making their own tortillas right there. Lots of people were getting takeout. It's obviously quite popular.

I had the carne asada and al pastor tacos and they were both very good. The rice and beans were okay but not great. They have a good-sized salsa bar with salsas and other Mexican condiments but I didn't find any one thing to be spectacular. Prices were a bit expensive for what you get.

This place had everything you'd ask for in an authentic Mexican food joint. The selections of dishes alone are worth trying. We have been impressed with the way they are able to create delicious dishes with the wide variety of meat they offer. I will say the only items I am not impressed with are the desserts. However, lunch here for us seems to be a reoccurring thing. The burritos are very good, as well as the tacos. We also enjoy the salsa bar that offers a good variety of fresh salsas and sides. The service is consistent and staff seems genuinely friendly. Plus, you can't really argue for the price!

Food is always great but service is really hit or miss. They bring out awesome tortilla desserts at the end of your meal.

Recommended by friend. Little difficult finding as entrance on side of motel. But once inside, everything was great. Attentive, polite waitress. Ordered stuffed sopapilla( never had before, but was so delicious)! Partner had tacos. All was very delicious, fresh, just the right spices. Would highly recommend.
