Dosa HutA restaurant connected to the hotel.Serves good food, specially dosa.They also good savouries like samosa chaat, pani puri, etc.The place is very small and hence seating capacity is limited.Secondly when you are a speciality souyh indian restaurant you need to concentrate on the sambhar. Improvement is needed there.Otherwise a good reasonable restaurant woth good staff.

Its really a Fusion of Good Ambience, Good Taste (particularly Punjabi Food), Good Service & Nice Location as its a serene one.The Taste of Punjabi Food was a real natural & authentic & that too in a modern ambience which is somewhat hard to imagine. And add to it, service was also with a smile, which is also rare these days. The location is remote from the city, so one can choose it that way only, for a peacful getaway from the bustle of the city. There is a Roof top Cafe with canopies, which I suppose is for the first time in Rajkot. And they have also banquet facility for the parties.

There were some nice elements here- the decor is nice and there are a nice choice of things on the menu (and the placemats are fun, particularly liked the Bollywood-themed crossword!).However a lot of things don't quite work. The welcome drink was frankly, disgusting. The staff tried but weren't that efficient- things like my wife being told her order wasn't available about 15 minutes after she had chosen (they did apologize but then once she was ready to choose something else, they took ages to come over to the table again). The main problem for me was our falafel in bread. I chose falafel because it was simple and I wanted to see if the restaurant could make a tasty version of a non-Indian dish (I quite often find non-Indian food in India a bit disappointing). Unfortunately the taste of the salad etc was pretty plain but the main problem was that there were 2 falafel in the bread. In the equivalent sandwich in somewhere like Berlin, where you can get falafel everywhere, there would have been about 5 falafel in the sandwich. So the taste is bound to be inferior.My wife also thinks she got bitten by a mosquito in the restaurant and there was a fly buzzing around us too..

Located at the classy Imperial Palace, this coffee shop offers great ambience and the food comfortably matches up.Went there for a an evening coffee-the cappuccino was great, and the Chilli Cheese Toast was amazing! Great quality of cheese, not too salty and with the right amount of chewiness, on a well toasted bread.Another unusual item we ordered was a Pineapple Cheese Grilled Sandwich-sweet and salty, and definitely worth a try. The Cold Coffee was great too.Not too sure about the main course but the snacks were great, making it a must visit for me the next time!
