First time. Lots of people waiting outside. Area for kids to run and play was good. Not sure there was waiting are inside in bad weather. Seated within 30 minutes was acceptable on a Friday night on covered patio area. Server was attentive. The bean dip was a first for me and very tasty. I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp. The bacon was slightly over cooked. The order was covered in white cheese which I thought was not needed and was not melted well. The vegetables were exceptional. Cooked so as to be crisp and flavored well. My wife ordered the carne asada which was a ribeye and full of fat. It was not well seasoned. Portions were large and after chips and drinks werenât able to finish. Would go back as not many choices in Prosper at present. Not on list of âgotta go againâ.

We stopped here for dinner and were richly rewarded. Everything was great. I had the chicken fajitas with rice, refried beans, fresh flour tortillas, salsa and guacamole. Wow, what a meal! The flour tortillas are wonderful. The fajitas feature large pieces of breast meat mixed with grilled onions and peppers. Thanks for the great review! We are so happy you enjoyed your time with us a few weeks ago. Please visit us again soon!

We ordered the shrimp taco, the fried chicken taco, the Baja fish taco, the panella cheese taco and a bowl and spicy mango and lime margaritas. Everything was delicious. Cooked to perfection. Best tacos weâve had in Texas. Better than the famous Torchyâs tacos!

My wife and I have dropped in for lunch twice. Both times were great! This is an inviting place with great service and delicious food. The tortilla soup is almost a meal in itself â loaded with shredded chicken and flavor. My chili relleno was great, as was the beef enchilada. Well seasoned with flavorful sauces. The complementary salsa is a little mild but there is a spicier version available on request. This place will be a regular lunch stop for us.

Recently dined here with the wife while we were out running errands. We felt some tacos were very good and some were not so great. The fried mahi mahi taco and the chicken street taco were our favorites. The queso, bacon breakfast burrito, and brisket egg, and cheese taco were not so great. If you dine here, I recommend the fish taco over the others we tried.

We went to Ernestoâs for dinner last Friday evening and ordered the Beef Fajitaâs for two. The beef was stringy and under-cooked, it looked and tasted like the beef was baked in the oven vs. grilled, (aka there were no searing marks on the beef, onions or green peppers). In addition, there are too many tables in the restaurant so everyone is squeezed-in and on a Friday night it was just awful: it was warm, crowded and noisy.
We have eaten there several times and the food is always good. The staff is friendly and the manager usually drops buy to check on us. The margaritas are good as well. Very family friendly. Starts getting crowded around 6:00. There is plenty of food. My wife usually brings some home. She will get 3 brisket tacos and brings one home.

My new favorite is one of 3 locations. They have large indoor and weather-protected patio seating. Plentiful parking. Family friendly, with a great staff, which easily made table adjustments for large groups. They offered a large variety of standard menu offerings, as well as new ones, which I look forward to trying. I had the standard, 2 cheese enchiladas, with rice and beans, but it also came topped with a large serving of tender fajita beef strips! A great tasting combination!

Stopped in for lunch. Clean, nicely decorated, good friendly service. Chips and Salsa average. I tried the Chili Relleno stuffed with brisket. These are supposed to be fried with a crispy outside. Mine was soft and doughy. Meat was tender, but lacked seasoning. I ended up peeling off most of the outer layer and just ate the pepper and meat. Rice and beans were average. They need to up their game. I would not return.

This was our first time at Mesa's and we will be going back. The food and service was excellent. If you go I suggest you try the carne asada, it will not disappoint.
