Always sooooo slow. Employees arguing and getting orders wrong. It's not rocket science, it's Taco Bell.

I am. It embarrassed to say that we come to chipotle fairly often. Maybe twice a month. This chipotle location is the closest to us. Today we stopped by to pick up dinner on our way On my way home from the store. My husband got out, so I didn't see open the bag until we got home. We got two burrito bowls & theses things are barely half way full. This is not the first time either. I have noticed that this location has a habit of shorting their customers on food. I understand that if you want "extra" they have to charge. But, I shouldn't always have to pay for "extra" just because you only put a teaspoon full of meet in my bowl. I have asked for more, but they just do like the tip of the spoon. Hardly anything. Delicious as all heck, but- i guess We have to find another chipotle location to go to.
This is a good, clean Chili's where we always get good food and good service. It's a typical standby for us. We go here a lot for the chips and salsa and a drink from their full bar. We went here tonight because my wife had a taste for their loaded baked potato soup. We also ordered the jumbo soft pretzels and received an order of chips and salsa with her soup.I had the Big Mouth Bites, which were so-so--not as good as other burgers I have had there in the past. Lots of TV screens in the bar area. Tonight half were showing the Bulls game and the others were showing the Blackhawks game. I'm quite sure we'll be going back.

Went there for lunch prices were ok. Tacos are getting more expensive now days. The service was real slow took over 20 minutes to get 4 tacos and 2 burritos. The burritos feel apart when you are it no wrapped tight. Ended up eating it with fork and knife. With other Mexican restaurants in the area don't know if I would go back. The restaurant was very clean and bright
Went to Tortilla Flatz today, a Saturday, for lunch. The restaurant is in a strip mall, only one access point in and out. We were greeted promptly, seated quickly, and drink orders taken right away. Unlike many Mexican restaurants, we were not given chips on being seated. The server was pleasant, and relatively knowlegable about menu items. We ordered a small guacamole in order to get the chips, that came with two small ramekins of table sauce, one a very hot chipotle habanero type, the other a mild, somewhat bland, verde. The chips were nicely browned and not greasy, and were the best part of the guacamole - bland, made from somewhat under-ripe avocado, needed more salt and cilantro.Entrees - three entrees ordered. A chile relleno burrito, chicken enchiladas, and a fish burrito. Of the three, the fish burrito and enchiladas were preferred. The chile relleno burrito was simply chopped up pieces of poblano pepper inside a burrito with lettuce, tomato, cheese, beans, and a meat choice. Not overwhelming, and not at all what one would expect from the description. Several menu items refer to "jalapeno Ranchero sauce" but the sauce is made on a per order basis, so that may be something to try out when we get back here. The fish burrito featured grilled tilapia, with the restaurant's cilantro rice, black beans and a cilantro sauce. Enchiladas had a chunky enchilada sauce, rich with green and yellow peppers. The chicken filling was well flavored. The burritos were average sized and filled us up. The three enchilada entrée also was filling enough for one.Mrs. Curmudgeon and I swapped rice side orders - the Mexican rice was very bright orange, and was essentially flavorless; standard peas, corn, carrots and fake orange rice. The cilantro rice was nicely flavored, with a hint of citrus, and was the preferred for me. The black beans were runny, and had little flavor. Not sure if this was a function of early day arrival and the flavors hadn't had a chance to develop on a simmer, or just under seasoning by the preparers. They did not have any al pastor, being Saturday. The positive note, and what will likely send us back one more time, at minimum, is that when they have pastor, it's cooked on the spit rather than being pulled pork with pastor seasoning. In all, three meals, one appetizer, and soft drinks out the door for less than $50. We'll go back one more time, eventually, to try the pastor.

An exciting Mexican Grill and Margarita Bar serving authentic Mexican food with only the freshest ingredients in a hip atmosphere!
Hands down this is the best Mexican restaurant in Plainfield area. The food and atmosphere feel like you are actually in Mexico. Friendly and attentive staff. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been here many times. The homemade tortilla chips are amazing and the salsa is just as good as the chips. Margaritas are to die for. I guarantee if you give this place a try you will not go anywhere else for your Mexican food.

We used to love their wonderful Tex Mex style black beans and the Corona Beer Battered Tacos. No more...what happened? Everythink different and no flavor whatsoever. Rice is hard and dry. Soda was flat...it's a bar, check your tanks! So sad, I hope they go back to original recipes quickly. We used to love this place.
