We stopped with a fairly large group made up of mostly children. They seated us quickly and were friendly. Great diverse menu. Had a hot dog and burger option for the kids. We really liked the cabbage slaw and the salsa was good. The beef flautas had great flavor. The chicken mole was also very good. The juevos rancheros were delicious. Honestly everyone enjoyed their meal. The rice was also very good as a side. They brought a complimentary dessert like cinnamon chips with syrup and whipped cream the kids really liked. Good food, fast service, huge portions, and tasty. We would stop when passing through again. Also a really cute part of town and a great history of the building with photos in the dining areas.

I returned to El Charrito because the food was good and reasonable. Both times I was impressed with the level of service. The waiter had a great attitude, the food was very good and the prices were very affordable.

We visited Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant on Friday, February 16, 2018. We had five people in our group: three adults and two children, ages 10 and 8. I had combination dinner #5, which consisted of one tamale, one enchilada, refried beans and Spanish rice. The tamale did not taste good to me. It had an old, probably frozen and reheated, flavor. I only ate a couple of bites of it. The enchilada was good. But, the "beef" filling was hamburger meat, not shredded beef. So, I would call it "mediocre." The refried beans were creamy and flavorful. The Spanish rice was a bit dry, but still good. Overall I would say the food was "mediocre." But, the prices reflected this fact.

The dining while was clean it is in need of a remodel in a bad way. They did add some fake flowers to help draw your eye.The food was hot and fresh.I ordered the new triple decker crunch wrap supreme and it did not have the double meat on it. Not 100% sure if it supposed to be double meat or not. I will ordered it again at a different location for comparison.
