The Little Mexican Cafe has been a New Rochelle destination for aficionados of gourmet Mexican cuisine since 1990.The cheerful dining room is a great setting for simple business lunches or a great evening dining experience. There is a full bar offering do
Visited for a quick lunch of 2 tacos at the bar. I enjoyed the hospitality of being served delicious warm fried nacho chips and a masterful fresh salsa with my tiny order. I considered one of the fruit drinks on the menu, but then discarded the idea with mental visions of a syrupy concoction from a bottle. Then when I watched the bartender stocking the bins with frozen strawberries and beautiful chunks of fresh mango, I reconsidered. She made me a blender drink of mango and strawberry, with no added sugar, at my request. What a treat on this 85 degree April day. Tacos ordered dairy-free were delicious. Price under $10. I would like to return and try the mole and more!

I've eaten here a couples of times and am scheduled to do so again soon. Cute place with nice service. Always pretty busy but have found a spot at the bar or a table fairly quickly. The food is yummy and the menu is varied. Extremely tasty cocktails but they serve them in very small glasses - up the game on the glass size!I'll keep coming back. Great addition to Pelham.

i was shocked to see this small authentic, quick, fresh and happy to please restaurant not only listed as #22 in NewRo but behind Little Mexican Cafe. There is NO comparison. This is the only place to go for Mexican locally. Phenomenal dishes and try the authentic nachos, nothing like those you are familiar with at every tavern around. Prices are great too.
Finally, after years of local "sampling", we found a Mexican Restaurant we could return to again and again. Set in an elegant cafe-style environment, the service was attentive and impeccable. And the food was uniformly delicious. Starting with the fresh guacamole prepared tableside, followed by nachos and quesadillas, and moving on to the fish tacos and enchiladas, our hardy party of four couldn't stop stealing from each other's plates. Can't wait to return!
